Went to Dublin for a concert at the 3Arena, the hotel is a 2 minute walk from Heuston and Museum Luas stop is 2 minutes in the opposite direction so it is perfectly placed on the Luas for the journey into the city and to the 3Arena. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only used the room and was impressed, didn't spend any other time in the hotel. They looked after our bags before check in and after checkout so that we could explore. 20 minute walk from the zoo also so great location! Quieter than expected in the hotel so a good rest was possible.

Location close to zoo object of our trip.

Door man who greeted us on arrival, tho didnt speak simply opened the door didnt know where Guinness Factory was, which was surprising ! When we asked if we were within walking distance of Guiness Store door man didnt understand what we said. Simply shurugged his shoulders.
Guinness poured at bar was done in less than 10-15secs. Awful. And disappointing for an Irish hotel so close to Guinness Store House, especially given the tourist interest in it.
At breakfast no potato bread & again staff didnt know what we were talking about.
This was our 4th stay in this hotel over the years but it has lost its spirit, could have been anywhere really.
Restaurant food very poor we had to send food back twice plus table next to us also sent food back.
Sad really it used to be a very good hotel.

Everything was very good. The view from the room, size of the room, bed,storage, staff, food.
The only things I would mention were the position of the safe. Which was nearly on the floor, you had to go on your knees to access. (This would be very difficult for older customers) Also the hot water had to be run on a couple of occasions for quite a while to come through hot.

Great location for what we were doing. Easy metro access.
The shower tempt gauge was impossible to use. Either way too hot or subzero. Other than that great! Endless lava hot water.
