The location is perfect. Within walking distance of Heuston Station and the Luas. It's very easy to get into town and back out again. The staff on reception and in the bar were very friendly and helpful. My friend enjoyed her lunch but felt it was expensive €17.50 for sandwiches, crisps and a side salad seemed expensive. My order was cold so I didn't eat it. The waitress asked me was there a problem with it and I explained that it was cold so I just ate the salad. She was lovely and when she brought the bill she had taken my order off. I didn't ask her to do that and I thought it was a very nice gesture.
Our room was a twin and it was spacious and clean. There was sachets of tea/coffee, no water which I thought would be standard for a 4 star hotel. We were to the side or back of the hotel and our room seemed to have a generator outside the window which was extremely noisy all through the night. The single beds weren't very comfortable and the pillows weren't either. Breakfast was busy. We weren't shown to a table so had to try and find one ourselves, we eventually found one with no table settings. We had to find someone to get us our cutlery and cups. There was plenty of food in the hot buffet but it was quite cold which was a pity. Whilst the hotel was clean and the staff were really lovely the overall experience wasn't really what I was expecting for the money we payed.

Excellent breakfast. Location great for getting luas into city centre
Parking for residents very expensive at €18 per night. Went down for breakfast late as we were told the wrong time when checking in and were met with a very rude reception by a junior and then a senior member of staff. Have never been spoken to or treated like this in a hotel before. Otherwise we found the rest of the staff very pleasant.
