Location was perfect! It was old so it had some charm.
The towels were skimpy and the faucets were difficult. The sink faucet had a separate spigot for hot and cold, so you either used the cold water or burned yourself with the hot water. The shower faucet took a while to figure out and I had to regulate the water for my 84 year old aunt. More variety for breakfast would have been nice, but it was good.

The location was right in the center.
The shower faucets were hard to regulate. The sink faucets with separate cold and hot faucets made it hard to use.

The breakfast staff were the best. If you book on a Friday or Saturday and they assign you a room on Floor 1, be prepared for no sleep as the bar has music til 11ish, and the drums resonate into the rooms. The rooms are old, the main hotel/bar,/dining is beautiful and centrally located.
Front entrance looks nothing like picture on Booking.com. They need doorman as we are an elderly couple and very difficult to open doors and move luggage inside.

The location, the staff were excellent.
There is a lovely restaurant and bar with entertainment at night.
The Celtic Nights dinner show was excellent!
The room was small, though adequate with dated decor and old carpeting. The bathroom was very small with a tiny shower (24 inches square) with a tiny sink, no sink top or shelves, and no hair dryer. Our room faced the rear, which was very quiet, but no view, just looking into backs of other rooms.
