The downstairs bar was beautiful and well stocked. Entertainment every night. Breakfast had a variety of options at a cost of EU14 each (reduced from EU17.50 when checking in)
We were in the wing of the hotel that didn’t have a lift, and we hauled cases down the stairs on leaving. This was our choice at the time, as the hotel did offer, and they brought the bags up to us on check in.

I loved the location, just across the river from a lot of the most famous tourist sites like Trinity College. This puts them within walking distance but slightly removed from the overwhelming crush of people. There are also plenty of great things on the hotel's side of the river: my daughter's favorite thing in all of Dublin was the Portal that gave a video connection to cities in Poland, the U.S. and Lithuania.
As far as the hotel, it give you everything you'd want in a hotel and for a decent price. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, the hotel restaurant is good, etc.
Our room on the second floor was close enough to the street that cigarette smoke wafted into our open windows and we could hear drunken conversations/arguments in the alley into the night. Not the hotel's fault though!

Great staff who are the most welcoming. The hotel is situated in a great place, with easy access to the city and Temple Bar. Has discounted car parking available on request at a neaby car park. The food is amazing. I would stay again without any hesitation.
