Convenient to the city centre.
Room very small. Waitress at breakfast check in questioned my receipt for Breakfast purchase receipt. She claimed it was yesterday! I had to tell her I purchased breakfast when I checked in late last night.

Quieter location, being a little away from the tourist central areas. Close to hop on hop off bus.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and close to other good restaurants. Bed was very comfortable.
If you have mobility issues, you may want accommodation closer to the tourist attractions.

Our room was very small we didn’t have a place to put our suitcase. Perhaps this is typical for the location just took us by surprise. Also a fan in the bathroom would have been better :)

We usually book the Academy Plaza for concerts in The 3 arena, always a short stay but excellent, staff are very good, very helpful, a very busy hotel and would recommend staying there

Location
We could not sleep there. There was a pub, restaurant or some kind of similar venue outside of our windows that must have had a garden, where people were drinking, talking, shouting and laughing throughout all the night, basically till the morning (like 4 or 5 a.m.). I do not know exactly what that was, because I could not see anything out of the window, as there was only a big wall opposite, basically almost within the arms’ reach (which also made the room gloomy and dark all the day). Probably this wall helped also to echo and amplify the noise, so that we had the impression that these drunk animals are directly in our room. On the first night, I thought that it maybe is just one-off party somewhere, but it repeated on the second one. On the third we had to leave for the airport at 3 a.m. anyway, and it was just in the middle of the party.

Comfy beds, clean rooms, good location for walking to and from most attractions. Great breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
Outside of hotel was poorly lit, I would have been concerned if I had been a lone female.

Breakfast was very good value at the €12.50 we paid on arrival. Hotel is central and within walking distance for shops taxis busses etc
Floor was nice and quite too
Our room was small and dark. Toilet flush wasn't great . Room 710
You do miss no drawer space by the bed and lights on ceilings (which might just be a personal preference)

My overseas flight arrived early, and at check-in I was amazed that I was allowed in my room at about 9:00 a.m. without an extra charge.
