Convenient to town of Skibbereen activities, pubs, shopping. Really nice towel warmer in bathroom
Parking on the street, hotel and location doesn’t Quite look like the pictures posted. It’s smack in the middle of town.

The room was nice and comfortable. We were given quite a large room which was a treat. The breakfast was really good. We were easily able to walk to the main street of town.
The staff seemed nice but didn't really engage with us, they didn't tell us anything about the hotel (breakfast, location, amenities) when we arrived and multiple times when we went to the front desk the person was on the phone.

Breakfast was good, several options available and service was good.
We had a couple of meals and they were tasty, rather large servings for the mains, so we ended up just going for starters.
Our room was a long way away from the restaurant and bars. Really difficult with getting luggage to and from the room up rather narrow stairs. Our view was very disappointing, we looked out onto the roof of the restaurant and the airconditioners.

Very attentive staff, and such very nice people! Gals in the restaurant were just super helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a "Grand Dame" but incorporates modern architectural elements nicely. It's a bit worn in places but overall nicely redone. Bed was excellent ?.

Our room was huge! We overlooked the river and the old railway bridge and it was so pretty.
The breakfast was superb! I’ve never tasted a nicer poached egg before!
Grand hotel vibes with a cozy feel.
Great location for exploring west cork
If you are late back at night (after 11.30pm) - it is a bit of a challenge to enter the building as they lock the doors. There is a night porter but we managed to get in by asking other hotel guests in the lobby to open the door for us.
The bar is okay and great for a cup of tea and something light to eat but the pint of Guinness is not the best in town.

I like the location with amazing view. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and they have vegetarian option. We managed to have lunch at the restaurant and I had the salmon and it was amazing.
