The room was lovely and clean no faults there. The room was clean, spacious and tidy. For the accommodation area, they were clean although there was a takeaway bag sitting outside the corridor for a few hours it did not affect the cleanliness of the walkway to the rooms.
However, my reason for staying was as attended a wedding and as much as I didnt know what to expect I must honestly say the staff were quick to take away the food not replace water a member of the table had to ask for that to be done and cautery was missing during the meal nobody came near the table to check how we were doing if anything was needed which I found disappointing as for the toilets at the function room they were messy nobody cleaned them at anypoint and the heat in there a number of comments were made about how they were a sauna so for that I do not know what to expect if to attend a wedding in thr future at the hotel.

Incredible location, great staff, fantastic price.
Asking for an additional €100 as a deposit was a very unwelcome surprise and while my wife and I were able to give it without hesitation this unnecessary cost could have a terrible effect on persons or couples that weren't expecting or able to give this without warning, yes we were given it back on check-out but it could take a week to land back in the bank... We have stayed in dozens off hotels and never experienced this extra cost before, It may honestly effect us staying in the future which is a shame as this was our third stay but first with this extra step in place.

Staff was so warm and kind, the drive up to the property is akin to driving up to an estate. I can see why they host weddings here. Lovely. Beautiful chandeliers in the great room, well-maintained, clean, and I felt it was very reasonable. We paid far more for far less in other places. And the breakfast was fantastic - they had an entire honeycomb laid out for breakfast, charcuterie, fresh fruits and warm options. Would stay again. Lovely.
I would 100% recommend staying here, no complaints, just a head's up - there is a very sharp (as in turn like 180 degrees) turn to get in to the property grounds from a fast road. I am not even sure it should be legal to make that turn, if you can make a U-turn further down and come at it without that turn you might do that.
