The style and decor of the hotel. The staff were very nice. The hotel was very quiet . The room was absolutely spotless. I liked the brick wall feature in the room. The bath and shower were great
On check in I was told I would have to pay another €100 deposit on top of the price of the room and if I ordered any drinks or charged anything to the room then whatever remained I would get back when checking out , the rads in the room didn't work and we had to use the plug in Heater that was provided , the kettle was working and then stopped working fully however the biggest disappointment of all was the bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in despite it saying it was an orthopedic mattress and it had a mattress topper . I woke up sore the next day from just how uncomfortable the bed was.

Our room had a private baths, towels, and comfortable beds. Breakfast and Dinner was good, you need reservations.

Pleasant
A great location, that was within easy entry into Cork and quiet. Staff was extremely friendly and one of the reasons why I chose to finish my stay rather than find another hotel.
Rooms felt dated and musty. The carpet seemed to need replacement and the experience was a 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star hotel. If the price was much cheaper, then I think facilities would be okay for the value, but in comparison to other 4 star hotels, especially those in central Cork, its one of the worst.

It was a very nice hotel. The room were confortable and the staff kind and friendly.
This hotel is far from the city center, you can not go by walk. We found it a bit expensive for the actual stay.

Amazing meal options for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and nestled in the woods. The bathrooms were great, gorgeous lobby bathroom too! WiFi worked great, beds were COMFORTABLE!!

Beautiful hotel near hiking trails. Pretty view.
The night before I left, I requested to pick up breakfast to go at 7am. However, they had NO to go boxes or cups for coffee! Therefore, I was unable to even take a cup of coffee. Total waste of my $ and time waiting for them to open. They didn't even tell me they didn't have to go cups and had me standing there for 10 min only for the wait staff to come back with a porcelain coffee cup which I could not take in my car. I was not happy.
Also, why do all the hotels have heavy duvets in the summer? A simple top sheet should be on the beds for summer weather.
