Friendly staff.
Dark lighting in rooms and dining, no flannels, shower caps and only limited body wash. Needs a refurb.

Restaurant Food was to die for! Breakfast was fine.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - but a staff member did prepare us a coffee to take to the room when we asked where nearest coffee shop was :-)

General atmosphere. It is an older hotel and it is a gem. Service was exceptional. Breakfast daily was good, Dinner the two times I ate there was fabulous. Loved that the owner interacted with the guests.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. Again it's an older hotel. I am a realist.

This location was great for exploring town and the forts. After our first weekend night when we landed during a busy food tour, we were able to park on site. But street parking is easy in this area. The room was basic but functional. Great homemade breakfast.
I might have preferred a room off the street for more quiet.
