The hotel is in a wonderful spot around ten minutes from the town centre, close to UCC and Fitzgerald park. The shared spaces are beautifully decorated and the pool/gym facilities are gorgeous. Costa and Karolina made our stay special, really looking after our 4 year old. The breakfast is wonderful quality- great selection.
There is a difference in style between the shared areas which are very modern and the bedrooms; which are good quality but slightly dated in comparison.

Location, the rooms, the view from the hallway
The water was completely brown today, fair enough, it was a supply issue, but the receptionist told us the water was safe, I can’t imagine how completely brown water could possibly be safe.
We twice asked reception to book us a taxi, on both occasions they didn’t.
On both occasions we flagged taxis making drop offs at the hotel, on both occasions we asked the driver to radio the office to see if they had our booking, they didn’t have it on either occasion.
We had dinner in the restaurant, however there was a delay in seating us despite there being plenty of empty tables.
Considering what we ordered was simple, there was a fairly long wait between finally being seated and then receiving our food, around 50 minutes.
The delay was such that we considered leaving before it eventually arrived.

Easy parking, location, comfortable bed with nice shower. Restaurant was very nice and food was delicious.
Unfortunately there was a banging sound we could hear from our room on the 4th floor.
Also the water was brown our final morning due to they said construction. They gave us free parking, a 15euro break. I think we deserved more than that.

Nice building and comfortable rooms, 10 minutes walk to pedestrian area with lots of restaurants and cafés.
Restaurant personell was unfriendly, slow, not attentive at all.
