Fair
I liked the decor and the staff were friendly.
Overpriced and at night crisps and snacks are locked away. We were overcharged twice for drinks. We were given a dirty class in the bar

Great view. Cocktails were fab. Food was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Tricky driving there with narrow streets. The cats didn’t want a pat.

It’s a beautiful hotel with gorgeous decor and very comfortable rooms. Helpful and friendly staff and a view to die for over a cocktail! Loved the small cinema experience also

Wonderful
The room specification was brilliant. Plug points both side of the bed and control of lights on both sides. Bathroom had a super magnifying mirror, main mirror didn't steam up and the shower was great. Set in a lovely area with a village feel with restaurants, bars and shops - 20 minutes walk from centre of Dublin.
The view wasn't great - overlooked the car park. On pulling out a heavy stool in the room, we found a peanut and dust on the skirting board.

We enjoyed our stay! There is a lot to do at this hotel/resort including a pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna and then a movie theater (all included). The restaurant on the premises offers a nice dinner and included breakfast, and the views are really fantastic. We did not use it, but there is a spa as well. We loved the fun art around the hotel.
The rooms are fairly standard-size hotel rooms, but the king bed was comfortable.

Panoramic bar and swimming pool / leisure facilities were fab and we really had a relaxing time. Convenient location albeit navigating the hills. Reception staff were very helpful, as was Trevor the barman.
Lack of fridge and mugs in the bedrooms

The Hotel is stunning, gorgeous decor and amazing facilities. A lovely sauna and spa area. Truly gorgeous breakfast choices and a wonderful patio. We used the cameo cinema for a truly special extra activity, going to the 9pm session, taking our wine and being given the free popcorn .. a nice walk into town. The staff were incredible, every single one of them a friendly as the next. What a splendid and truly magic stay with sweeping views over Cork.
Nothing, except wifi a bit average.

Beautiful location really lovely. Very beautiful spaces within, terrace was gorgeous and decor was tasteful
The menu was pretty average. It was a very important aspect of my decision to book the hotel - I love food - but it was just average. Service wise, the staff were lovely, but I didn't really feel I was a valued guest. The room - in a beautiful hotel with amazing views, we got landed with a view of fake grass and a wall. Situated beside the lift. We stayed for two nights, and we're disturbed 3 times on our first morning by people wanting to clean the room. I paid a lot for the room, months in advance so it wasn't like a cheap deal. It was comfortable and clean, but not the amazing experience I had hoped for.

Pleasant
The staff were exceptional.
There was a lack of management intelligence to some of the procedures that made the experience somewhat unpleasant and the work of the staff difficult. On the first day our pouched eggs ordered “from the kitchen” arrived stone cold. A pity as they had been perfectly cooked but left on the service counter too long. We did not order anything “from the kitchen” after that as we had lost confidence. Coffee is always nice to have WITH your breakfast, not after it, but it was constant effort to get coffee served quickly. They were badly organised and the staff did their best but management was lacking. We visited the cocktail bar, which can only be described as chaotic. Service was slow and disorganised. People were given the wrong cocktails. A couple who arrived before us were asked if they wanted another cocktail and had to point out they had not yet been served the original drinks they had ordered half an hour ago. You got the impression that the hotel was run by a bunch of rather stupid accountants who has no concept of the importance of customer service or how the job should be done. The poor cocktail waiter had to take the orders on a notepad like it was 1970 and then import the information into a computer system inside the door leading to duplication, delay, and error possibility. I’m sure the system is great for accounting records but it is lousy for the customer experience and I felt genuinely sorry for the poor staff. I left with the impression that none of the directors had bothered to experience the facilities and the management were more interested in what was good from a bookkeeping perspective than how the staff and customers interact. I hope, for the sake of the staff, that someone senior reads this.

A stunning hotel - absolutely fantastic. Amazing views, some of the best and nicest / happiest staff I have ever come across! Everything was 5 stars - we had a fabulous time here and would recommend to anyone visiting Cork.
There was nothing I didn’t absolutely love! The food was good - not amazing, but certainly nothing to complain about at all!
