If I was being over critical then I would say the gardens could do with some TLC - did not see a gardener during my four day stay

Staying at the Montenotte is such a treat. The hotel decor is stunning, with amazing attention to detail throughout..Coffee or drinks on the terrace is a must..There is a lovely relaxed vibe with comfy seating areas overlooking the city..The rooms are beautifully decorated and we had great sleeps..Breakfast should definitely be sampled as there's a great variety of food .Special mention to Jess at reception who.is fabulous in her role and to Padraic in the cocktail.bar who is lovely to deal with..
Had to ask for an iron on our first night.All rooms should have one..

The staff at this hotel made the entire experience for us - Ken greeted us at the front after a stressful narrow lane drive and he was so kind, a pleasure to talk to and have us amazing local recommendations. It was my daughter’s birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make our birthday dinner night a special experience. I ordered a birthday cake from the chef that was so delicious and the restaurant pianist played happy birthday as they brought out the cake. Morning lattes were great and access to the bar and garden was nice to have. Gardens were so beautiful.
The facilities were aged and the rooms were tight. The pool and hot tub area were quite aged and deteriorated and one day there was no towels available for the swimming pool. Why didn’t the staff just improvise and offer up hotel room towels?

Staff were amazing! Spa treatment one of the best I've had Apartment well equipped and spacious Cocktail bar and terrace were fab Enjoyed our cinema night
Double bed on the small size King would have been more comfortable Menu could have been better for children Room service should have been delivered to room in the appartments (as opposed to guests having to collect and return dirty dishes)
