Overpriced for what it is. Restaurant service is slow in the evening so I would go somewhere else. Some of the front desk staff could up their game. Rooms are dated and in need of some repairs.

Fantastic staff and friendly service. Gorgeous cooked breakfast. Beautiful hotel.
There was a little trouble with the shower hot water, but this resolved after a while.

The hotel is central and easy to access. The bed was comfortable.
When I got up in the morning, I was under time pressure, then to find that I had absolutely no hot water in my room. None in the shower or the sink. As I checked out I got the obligatory "sorry about that". I later replied to the direct email from the hotel.... tumbleweed, I must say I am extremely disappointed in a hotel of the level of The Metropole.

Staff lovely.
Light coming in under and around edges of door. Creaky floorboards. TV worked intermittently. Needs a facelift. Price not commensurate with offering.

The staff were so helpful I was able to check in early as I had my 6 year old granddaughter with me and the receptionist was super helpful will definitely be back
