The property was too far from the town of Killarney and not convenient. Additionally, the first room they gave us was in the older part of the hotel which was worn and run down. The shower was covered in black mold top to bottom. We requested a second room which they gave us (with no apology) and that shower also had mold in it. Thjs is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Breakfast excellent, particularly liked the table service. Also our waiter was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him, lovely manner.
While watching the Ireland v Scotland rugby match downstairs the bar in the room wasn't open so we had to carry the drinks quite a distance.

Beds comfortable. But both nights had debs nights so some noise til early morning as our room was close to function room..
Shower was not very clean. No main light in bathroom. Food was just ok. Had to ask staff to take order and they left the food with no cutlery..

The woman at reception (Juanita?) was very kind and helpful.
My co-worker had to change room 3 times: all previous rooms variously had strong smells (sewage/draining/smoke) or were dirty (flaking chair leaving material onto her clothes and toenail clippings on the carpet).

Good water pressure in shower
No fire in downstairs lobby despite being asked. Room was very dated and small, pillows were hard and lumpy
No amenities in bathroom. Bathroom was very dated also.
Spa is non existent and only nail bar available but only for certain days.

The pool was nice and the lobby was great to hang out in. The heated floors were a nice comfortable.
The place was dirty and the room was not cleaned well by room service. The linens were not clean. The towels were taken away and not replaced. Nothing was replaced. The pool had wired rules that limited access to it.

Was amazing very accommodating to all the family ages range from 2 up was a lovely hotel
The shower head in the rooms needs to be made so the water doesn't hit the wall I'm 5ft 7 and had to go on my tip toes in the shower to not get blasted in the face with the water

Exceptional
Excellent hotel establishment. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and the staff are all decent people. The food and drink in the bar is of good quality. The area is well serviced by public transport and there is a shopping centre close by. The staff at reception will organize a taxi for you if you are looking for one.
Breakfast room needs to be signposted. Could use a vending machine for drinks and snacks. Other than that no complaints.
