Size of the room .Good sized beds.
Dated and needs an upgrade. Couldn't use the sink because the plug didn't hold the water in the basin...even after we reported it (twice) . Gloomy rooms and corridors.

Good location. Nice staff. Comfortable bed.
We were on the top floor and it was hot for sleeping. The small windows were open but had to be covered at night with the curtains to keep out the light. There was a fan and another was offered, but hot air is hot air. To be fair, Ireland was having a heat wave when we stayed, so perhaps, normally this would not be a problem.

Room 520 is at the top And when the toilet in that room and next door was flushed the pump make a loud noise and vibrated Kept me awake Then at 5am the bin noise woke me Not a good stay

Staff were really lovely, very helpful and friendly. Our family room (109) was big and spacious 1 double and 3 single beds. Ceilings are high and two big windows made the room bright and airy. The bathroom was in a separate little area just inside the door. It was nice to be able to close the door to this area when going to bed. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of choice for all the family.
We booked this hotel specifically because it was in the city centre and had a pool for the kids. We didn't arrive until 18.10 as had been at an event for the day, and when we arrived the kids were disappointed to hear that the pool had closed at 18.00. Staff were lovely and said it would be open the following morning at 9 and said that we could use the facilities after checking out also if we wished. Longer opening hours in the leisure centre would be an advantage here, but again staff were lovely!

For a 4-star hotel and the price per night, the room could be nicer and more comfortable. The room was outdated and awfully hot (probably because it was located in the last floor and it had been a sunny day).

Central convenience for meeting up with family in Cork. The staff were very attentive to our needs. This was really helpful whilst travelling with our disabled mum and always made sure there was a disabled parking spot for us.
The only thing worth mentioning was that we would have liked to have the opportunity to have a simple tea and toast breakfast.
