Beautiful location right on a river. In a busy, yet quite part of town. A short walk in any direction found us everything we could need in town. Room was wonderful (shower was great!) and the staff was very friendly. Separated from the hustle and bustle with its own parking and was the easiest of our five hotels in Ireland to get in and out of. Great if you are road-tripping!

Location was very convenient to walking downtown. Room was clean and parking on site.
We had to keep asking for the heat to be turned on, eventually we were brought a portable heater, but the room was still cold. The staff never explained how the key card needed to be used to keep electric on which would have been a helpful tip when we first arrived.

This was a stay of 10’s and zeros, hence a rating of five (5).
First the pros:

The bed, which we were informed was new, managed to combine very hard with lumpy.
While many hotels lack streaming services, the suggestion that I use my “hot spot” was a bit ridiculous. This was due in part to the fact that the staff (courteous and hard-working) was unable to get more than 3 channels to work on the tv. When I inquired with the manager the following day, I was informed that they adopted a new system 5 months prior… my question regarding why this was a known problem that remained unresolved was answered, “we’ll definitely look into this.” Apparently “looking” takes precedence over “acting”.
The staff, while kind and courteous, lacked aspects of training necessary to meet guest needs. For example, when asked for a recommendation for lunch, the receptionist made it clear that she simply had no idea where we might find a good restaurant… polite but ineffective.
Cost of accommodation: I paid significantly more ($275) for an unsatisfactory stay in Cork than for an exemplary stay in Dublin. Frankly, it left me with a less than favorable memory of Cork.

Accessible room is not for a actual non ambulatory person. Door opens in a way which requires a full transfer cannot wheel in and take care of business. Rest of the place was accessible and staff was very friendly. Elevator worked and doors to room allow wheelchair access.

Really loved my stay here. I was working remotely and the room was quiet, comfortable, with good wifi. There's no AC but the window opened wide and the fresh air was pleasant. Staff were really lovely. The free parking was a huge plus. It's not the part of the city I'd stay in again in the future but that's a personal preference; the area itself is totally fine and within walking distance to everything.

This location was great. The room was comfortable, and the shower was incredible. The breakfast was the best of our stay in Ireland. We had a wonderful stay.
The room was a big too warm, and there was no way to adjust the temperature. We could at least crack a window, but that didn’t help much.
