Exceptional
The hotel is located very close to the city center walking and to other attractions with in a walking distance.
It need a bit of an upgrade.

Wonderful
Location was ideal for our weekend stay in Cork, close to all amenities. Night porter was particularly friendly, and had plenty of corny jokes to share! Stayed in a triple room which wasnt a bad size for 3 people.
Facilities in the room were good, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
Carpet in the rooms could do with being updated.

Pleasant
The location is very good. Had little interaction with the staff once we checked in although they were friendly and helpful.
Based on our experience with the Leonardo Parnell Sqaure in Dublin, we were disappointed. This is an older hotel that has not been taken care of as well as it should have been for the price. There was a torn curtain in our room, a relatively small tv and the whole room was a little careworn. No A/C so would never book here in the summer. We were quite warm at night in May.

Poor
Nice staff, bar/restaurant was handy.
Room smells like mold, very dated furnishing/carpet/etc. Squeaky bed and very uncomfortable pillows.
Most expensive place and the worst place I stayed at during my trip. They plan a complete remodel and are not taking care of anything anymore. If they cut the price in half maybe worth it for a crash pad otherwise stay away till the remodel is done in a few years.

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the Train Station and also to the city centre. The room and bathroon were big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just OK, because based on the price, it might offer a wider variety of food.
The hotel should pay more attention to their room cleaning procedures. We travelled for holidays, left the room early in the morning and came back after lunch around 3 pm. We never found our room serviced, which was a bit annoying, considering we wanted to take a break before dinner. Although we requested an earlier service by hanging a notification sign on the door, it never was considered. After 3 days, we decided to talk with people from reception, and instead of agreeing and offering a solution, they just said ´unfortunately´ nothing can be done because their employees do the cleaning during the afternoon. Although I can understand every hotel has their own policies, I wasn´t aware of them and trusted on the notification for early service, which doesn´t have a real purpose.
It was really a shame that this situation, especially the justification from the hotel´s personnel, made our stay just "OK", because the hotel has many positive things, and I´d have considered to come back for work, as I use to travel to Cork frequently to meet business collaborators. But based on their "cleaning schedules" and the way personnel deal with problems, ´unfortunately´ I won´t come back, I don´t expect this for a 4-star hotel.

Exceptional
The gluten free and dairy free options at breakfast where great. Myself and my friend have allergies/intolerances and dietary requirements that make it difficult to eat, but the breakfast provided many different options. The view from the room was beautiful! The complementary drinks and tea station where also lovely. The staff where lovely and very helpful.
I personally didn't find the bed very comfortable, but that is completely personal preference, as I prefer a harder mattress. The shower wash a little messy, the water pressure was very intense and the water tended to spill out onto the bathroom floor.

The staff was amazing. We were arriving late in the evening and when we arrived the front desk had everything ready for us and so it made a quick and smooth check in process. The location was perfect. The breakfast had a lot of options.
There was a lack of plugs in our room so it made charging our phones challenging at times.

The location was perfect for the train station & for walking to the city centre. ALL staff we met were incredibly friendly & helpful. We could store our bags until our room was available. Staff offered choice of room too & we opted for a room overlooking the river. The room was spotless & well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bottled water was much appreciated. Biscuits with tea/coffee were very good quality! Breakfast buffet selection was good & the availability of vegan options was very welcome.
Nothing!
Everything exceeded expectations & exceptional value for the price.
