Pleasant
This hotel served its purpose. Room was clean and minimal.
The check in process was fairly pointless as they ask to check in online yet still make you wait in queue and have to check in again in person.
Also the staff at the bar/restaurant were fairly unbothered about their work and I had to ask several times for certain things like getting me cutlery for my dinner, sugar for my tea etc - bare minimum service really

Wonderful
Room was ok , breakfast reasonably good but could have done with a bit more space around breakfast tables. Location was super for the gig we had gone to see. Joe Bonamassa plays Tribute to Rory Gallagher at the Marquee -superb evening and as usual a great visit to Eire.
Having to return home.

Very Poor
Breakfast was lovely. The location was ideal but not safe. We had to park in lapps quay which was very unsafe. There were several drug users located outside and towards the carpark. There were used needles all over the ground. My daughter and I felt very intimidated and unsafe while walking to the carpark. I would not stay here again due to this fact. It's a pity because the location was ideal for the concert that we attended.
The surrounding area

Wonderful
The location was central, the bar area was nice. The breakfast was nice and the staff friendly.
The room was very hot, though there was a fan it didn’t make much difference. There was also a heatwave while we were there so that’s why the fan wasn’t good enough.

We did not get the room we booked which was a single and double bed ,it was not the end of the world so I did not complain as we were a couple.Bed was like a rock ,no Aircon .The hotel is over priced for budget accommodation

Very Good
Everbody was really nice and friendly. The breakfast was super with lots of options and good quality. Rooms are clean, comfy and a place to relax after a long day of touring Cork.
Unfortunately our room was facing the street and due to very warm temperatures we wanted to sleep with open windows. This came with quite some noise from the street. So I recommend travelling with earplugs.

Good location, helpful staff and onsite parking
In one of the rooms there were blood stains on the bed linen that wasn't spotted until late at night and my travel companion didn't like to complain .We did inform staff in the morning and they refunded cost of parking as compensation

Wonderful
Great location. Not far from bus and train station. And walking distance from shops. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Room was lovely and they provided a fan
Room a little dusty but that could have been from the fan and it's not a big deal. Bath/ shower too deep for my mother in her 70s to get in and out of.
