Good
Our room was on the first floor and catered for wheelchair access. The room was spacious with a large shower.
Would have liked to see the breakfast room and bar updated. Very old fashioned decor. The breakfast lacked vegetarian options. The bar menu also had few vegetarian options.

Pleasant
In the middle of town. Good room eventually
Checked in to a room with a small window above the bed. Felt very claustrophobic no outlook. Said it in passing to reception and they moved us to a great room looking over the street. No noise as they had double glazing so I was impressed Breakfast was a bit chaotic but food ok.

Poor
room was clean but very small, very noisy not sure why it sounded like a boiler.
,Breakfast was very basic and extra. Room very noisy and small and basic for the price. Toilets in reception area were an utter disgrace, overflowing bins with soiled tissues etc and nothing done about it for over 24 hours even after complaints made.

Fair
room was OK - breakfast was good - waitress at breakfast was very good -- location is v good but tough walk to car park for elderly - downstairs could do with a bit of updating , a bit dingy in my opinion. bar sevice good.

Wonderful
Breakfast was lovely. I truly appreciated having my coffee served very soon after arriving.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinners were good.
The music on Thursday night was great! It was the only night during our two weeks in Ireland that we were treated to Irish music.
We were very satisfied with our stay. I can't think of anything that we didn't like.

Very Good
Hotel was very charming. Attached restaurant was nice and staff at both were great. Twin room was perfect for my daughter and I. Near by free parking was nice. Breakfast was good with a fair amount of choices.
Would be nice if you could access the parking area in the rear of the hotel from the doors at the back of the hotel instead of having to walk up the small road with traffic.

Good
There is a bar in the hotel and an outdoor seating area. They seem to have live music here which would be an added bonus to a stay. Parking in back was a good feature too.
The hotel was a bit dated but clean and safe.

This is an older hotel. It is very dated. There was no place to hang towels in the bathroom. For 2 nights and being in the centerof Mallow it was okay.

Exceptional
We loved our spacious and comfortable rooms. The hotel is a beautiful blend of the historic 300-year old inn with tastefully updated rooms. The bed was so comfortable and great shower. We had dinner at Keppler’s just down the road (also owned by the Hibernian) and everyone enjoyed their meal and the lively pub atmosphere while we cheered Cork on with the friendly locals to a win the Hurling Championship Finals and that experience is one we’ll never forget. Breakfast was wonderful, too. Tracy welcomed us all of the staff we encountered were so kind.
There is a distinct smell just down from the entrance near the pub - definitely not pleasant but it wasn’t just smoke from the pub. Maybe something from the leisure center / pool? We couldn’t tell what it was, but it’s definitely not significant enough to take away from the hotel.

Bed was comfortable. Room (aside from bathroom) was spacious Receptionist was friendly.
Bathroom was small. The door banged agsinst the shower every time. Unfortunately the person in the room above woke up at 6am and them walking around woke me up. The sound deadening between floors was very bad.
