The location was great, especially if you're arriving by train or bus. I also liked that there was a large storage drawer under the bed that was large enough for my big suitcase! The steam and sauna was a lovely option at the end of a long day of exploring.
The rooms are indeed very small. We upgraded to a king bed and I can't imagine the queen size room would have been very comfortable - the rooms are only as wide as the bed is long.

Impersonal feel with an over imposing machine for check in at reception. Wrong room type assigned Rubbish littered around reception & foyer
Surfaces in bedroom greasy/dirty. Net curtains on windows are dirty.

The first lady that we asked for assistance when checking in was quite rude. 10 minutes later, someone else helped us and he was amazing. Parking is a problem

I didn't enjoy what appeared to be a police officer in the lobby when my friend and I returned asking for room numbers and last names. It felt invasive.

Check in was quick; Brian was helpful and kind. We were able to check in earlier which was great.
rooms were very clean. Cleaning staff were thoughtful and responded quickly to requests.
Cost was quite high; food was very expensive - after one meal we ended up finding other places to eat.
Not being able to bring children into the pool after 7 was an inconvenience after a long day of sight-seeing.

We had dinner in the bar and the food was excellent. We had the buffet breakfast the next morning and it was a bit cold but it was tasty and a really good selection.
The carpark cost I thought was expensive, we checked in at 3pm and then we had to exit that evening and we paid €12 the first day and then we had to pay another €12 on check out. €24 is a lot for parking for one night. It should be a one off charge of €12

I liked the fridge in the room and the air conditioning and heating system
I didn’t think the room was that clean to be honest it could have been more cleaner. The breakfast was horrible the dinner was very good the restaurant is very nice and staff were lovely.
