Breakie was very good. The staff very pleasant. Position for seeing the castle and pivoting for other activities, visit to Cohn etc was easy.
Not much. Most enjoyable, the staff esp the lass with that greeted us on arrival were pleasant.

In an absolutely ideal location and brimming with charm and personality - this was one of the highlights (hotel wise) of our entire trip to Ireland. The room was huge and immaculately clean, the breakfast was incredibly tasty with big portions, the pub next door was charming and had incredible food and the atmosphere of the whole place was so warm and friendly. If you're going to Ireland, Blarney is a must, and the Woolen Mills is a perfect base for exploring - I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Nothing.

The hotel is really cool, great staff, locale, history, pub/ restaurant attached & I had the best fish chowder of my life!! Also if you're a paying cust. you get the free breakfast in the large restaurant at the end of the lobby. Also the best b'fast by far in our 8 days in Ireland...they'll make you anything u want & also have a very nice buffet bar.
Also pleasantly surprised by how much of a quaint village Blarney was. A very short walk (300 yards?) from the hotel grounds thru the village to the castle.
I've done some traveling in my day and this was a pleasant surprise. Excellent.
There was nothing my son and I didn't like. And he's traveled too.
Btw, there's a huge woolen mills shore connected. Pricey but top quality.

It was located very close to the Blarney Castle. Views were great
It was surprising there was no mini-fridge in the room

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Our room was very clean and had everything that we needed. We had both dinner and breakfast - and both were PHENOMENAL!
Everything was great!

Wonderful
We arrived during a heat wave and the tiny, little fan provided was really not sufficient.

We had a lovely welcome having driven from Dublin and going into Cobh and Cork before checking in. Our room was lovely with 2 king sized beds which were very comfortable. We were please we had booked here, rather than staying in central Cork as the building and location were charming. The breakfast was delicious and loads of buffet choices. We had a veggie cooked breakfast and they amended for my vegan husband. We could leave our car there while we had the short stroll to Blarney Castle. We loved our time there exploring the gardens extra and the kiss of course! Also enjoyed there fresh water at Reception with cucumber, oranges and mint before leaving. Thank you to all the staff and definitely recommend.
Lovely rooms but perhaps time to modernise the bathrooms?
