Pleasant
Breakfast was excellent.
The shower head was horrible. No water pressure. Way to high. Not able to wash well due to these factors.

Wonderful
The bed was comfortable, loved the water available at the front, loved the area where we could visit with other friends that were staying at the hotel as well. We were able to walk to the park, the castle, the store & the breakfast was excellent.
The rooms were very warm. Difficult to sleep when it’s so warm.

Wonderful
Lovely hotel, free parking on site, staff very helpful and everything we needed in the room. Breakfast was served until 11am with a large choice of hot meals, cereals, cold foods, juices, tea/coffee
There was nothing we didn't like

Very Good
The staff are the highlight of this location everytime, we’ve stayed here twice and they’re always so welcoming and friendly.
Only small thing is the tv won’t connect to wifi so Netflix etc won’t work, channels are very limited .

The gift shop discount vouchers given to the hotel guests is a bonus, should you need to pick up some souvenirs in Ireland.

Great location! Good vibes and very eclectic. Liked that they offered breakfast and had a bar next door.
Charged for children, fire alarm went off mid-night.

Wonderful
Really comfortable beds, & high quality breakfast. Food in the adjoining restaurant for dinner was also of a very high standard. Will definitely return.

Wonderful
Fantastic location and very comfortable, spacious rooms. We had a wonderful meal at Christy’s which is in the property. Breakfast was lovely. Staff friendly and efficient.
It was unseasonably hot the week we visited so an aircon would have been great but this was not a deal breaker for us.

Poor
It looks great in photos, but underneath is a an outdate hotel, best way to describe it "lipstick on a pig".
No AC, the water pressure was just above a trickle, the bathroom was unsafe due to the elevation of the tub and some odd metal door stop in the middle of the floor.
We stayed during an unnaturally warm day and was unable to spend any time in the room due to unsafe high temperatures.
Also beware of their "no cancellation policy". Honestly worst hotel stay I've ever experienced.

Very Good
Excellent location, attractive room design and internal in-room facilities superb.
Breakfast disappointing and over-priced for what was served. Cannot understand any hotel serving Tetrapak fruit juices with breakfast. Likewise cannot understand absence of fresh fruit. I don't consider watermelon , tinned pineapple and tinned peaches to be acceptable. The cooked breakfast was almost inedible. In the same vein, I don't consider that Christy's Bar can be classified as a restaurant. It serves good pub grub, and that's about it.
Our visit was during a (rare) Irish heatwave, and showed up the drawbacks of no air-conditioning and inadequately sized window vents. Probably wouldn't matter during more typical weather.

Reception area was very modern
Value for money for the room €320 per night was too expensive

Good
Staff at check in were lovely, booked a table for dinner for us
Breakfast was cramped, space too small, for the cost of the room, not an appropriate area.
