Wonderful
Closeness to town and Blarney Castle. Pubs and restaurant at the hotel were great
closing of the restaurant early, 9:00 is too early especially if you're traveling and sightseeing all day

Good
It is well located and has lots of character.
There is a large party room at the back of the lobby. During our stay there was an extremely loud party that made both our rooms and the lobby unusable- there seemed to be no soundproofing or volume regulation by the hotel.

Great location. Free parking. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable well appointed room.
My breakfast choice was disappointing. Table service and almost half of my cooked breakfast items were overcooked and dry. Probably choose the porridge if I ever go back. My wife's looked (and apparently tasted) delicious.

Fair
Breakfast was totally short staffed and chaotic, and the food was poor quality.
The lawns were being cut at 8am so a sleep in was impossible, really disappointed

Clean, comfortable room with a spacious toilet. There were two fans provided which was great as the weather turned hot. Breakfast was yummy and I love that they post a daily fun fact on the notice board with the weather forecast.
There wasn't air-conditioning in the room. Although it was cool, the windows needed to be open and it gets noisy in the day since it's a touristic area but It's nice and quiet at the end of the day. Would love for the hotel to be more budget friendly so that we could have stayed a couple more nights.
