Woman who greeted us did not feel welcoming. Pipes were really loud during the night.

Lovely rooms.
Not knowing we had to haul our large luggage down 3 sets of stairs. If we had known we could use the door on the lower level to bring our luggage in, it would have made things a lot easier.

Bathroom and shower were good.
The photos of the place look like the hotel is on a country lane when it's actually on one of the busiest roads in Cork. It is also just below a roadway.
The carpets in the hallways were stained and dirty - very much a turn off.

Quiteer than expected, given the traffic and roads nearboy. Breakfast portions and options generous.
Further from town than anticipated; take the bus "home" if your feet hurt from wandering around Cork all day, cos it's almost 2 miles each direction, and the Lodge area is unlovely.

Easy check in , renovated bathroom, nice breakfast
Bathroom new but the ceiling had mold and had old parts of it left. Musty odor in hotel, garden out our window was not kept nice , just seemed very old but not kept up

The staff was very nice. The breakfast was very, very good. I enjoyed my stay, and if I come to the Cork area again, I would definitely stay there again.
The only issue that I had was finding the place. The sign was so small I could not see it, and it was being blocked by a branch when I'm driving down the road. it was just a pain in the neck to find. Drove past it four times. All while using Google Maps
