My room was just a few steps from the Pool. It was Cozy & I had a lot of privacy.

A lovely room, clean & comfortable. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Pool was great. The overall ambience of the guest house was fantastic with lovely grounds. On a busy party street but the rooms are well set back from the road so no disturbance during the night. We actually booked an extra 2 nights as we enjoyed the vibe of the guest house & area. Great value for money

Prambanan guesthouse is located right in the heart of Prawirotaman, a hip neighborhood with lots of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms are simple but very clean. We first stayed in a room with AC and then moved to one with just a fan because we extended our stay and both were totally fine. The pool is a great bonus after a long day of exploring the temples or the city. Closeby are several laundry places, the Viavia bakery and a really cool and authentic Batik workshop ‚Batik Winotosastro‘ where you can see the craft and how it works nicely. We were also allowed to create our own handkerchiefs with batik - highly recommend to go there!
The bars along the street can get quite noisy during the night.

Very nice people who efficiently helped us organise visits to the Merapi Volcano and theBorobudur and Prambanan temples.
The garden and the swimming pool were very much appreciated to relax after a day of visits.
If going back to Yogyakarta, I would definitely go back there :-)

I liked everything except the equipment that is half broken (we had two rooms and in both something was broken)
It is not a big deal anyways since everything is clean
We still enjoyed the location (nice street with plenty of restaurants and bars) and a nice pool

Great location to restaurants, bars, and live music.
Several local and touristy breakfast places close.
No breakfast, but they had local made breakfast items in the coffee area to try for free.
Mattress was too soft.
