Location is good, close to everything. Price was not expensive, but I did not feel good inside the room.
Rooms must be renovated. Mosquito come in to the room, and repellent not provided I was expecting

Small charming hotel just next to one of the main roads in Yogyakarta (restaurants from walking distance if you'd wish). Receptionist and staff are very nice and helpful, they let us benefit from a late check out and helped us rent a motorbike. He can also help you with activities to do in the city and around. Room was small but you will find all the facilities needed for a short stay. We had a very nice terrace in front of other rooms, that was nice. We recommend this place to stay in Yogyakarta ;)
Pipe under the bathroom sink was leaking, we had to put the trash underneath so that the bathroom was not soaked.. We reported it to one member of the staff but nothing was done during our short stay. Despite this, everything was fine.

Ndalem Mantrigawen is a heritage building nearest the Yogyakarta Royal Palace (Kraton). Which is located in the midst of town but is quiet and peaceful. So, this guest house is suitable for family vacations, and also comfortable for work from remote areas.
Actually, the room is very small for three persons. There are mosquitos that are disturbed enough. The amenities are not complete, such as no toothbrush and toothpaste.
