Everything was perfect, the room and the bathroom were spotless and so cozy!! The staff is also amazing, we spent good times with Oky who welcomed us so kindly. We really enjoyed our stay here !

Good hostel to stay at in Yogyakarta. Everything was clean. We stayed in a double room and it was HUGE - it was actually kind of hilarious how big it was but it was nice. And we had 2 bathrooms? Not sure why but it was nice nonetheless. The location is decent & the staff was nice and helped us get our laundry done.

The room is spacious for such price, we can place our luggage freely. The washroom was open to the sky, so it has a very good air circulation. They also provide clean towel, hot water, and good soap. The linen and blanket were clean and smell good. The bed was okay, a bit aging already, to replace it soon would be ideal. The communal kitchen was handy, especially the refrigerator. The inn has communal feeling with many greenery at the yard, you can casually chat with others and exchange stories of your trip around. The best part is, it's part of a friendly neighbourhood, so you can experience how to be a local.
?AC: I wish the AC have better maintenance and cleaning because I had sneezing non stop when it's on. I am pretty sure it wasn't cleaned for long time. Luckyly, Yogya was a bit cool when we stayed, so we did not turn the AC at night. ?Water Dispenser: I wish it is replaced with a newer one, and make it more clean. When we stayed, it was kinda dirty with stain, moss, or ants. ?Sofa area: It could have more lighting or lighter color, cause currently it is too dark, not too comfortable.

The staff was super kind and the location was amazing and peaceful. The towel and linen provided was super clean as well. There was only one toilet and shower but I never had to wait and didn’t have to share it with too many people. Great stay and I recommend a lot!

We lived the eclectic communal vibe. Oky was great at making sure you felt right at home and could access all of their amenities. He was also super helpful in giving us information regarding how to set up our excursions, where a good money exchange place was and helping me to observe and learn about batik making, although he can set up classes for you to learn how to do it as well! It was great location and quiet as well, even though it was in the heart of the area we wanted to be in.
The mattress could have used a slight upgrade, but it was all completely workable!

Very good value for the money you pay. Very friendly staff. Location was also good. Outside bathroom was nice.
The airconditioning was not working well, but the room was not that hot, so not a really big problem. Beds were not the most comfortable but fine.

Hostel looks really nice, has a chill vibe and the room has an outside shower with good AC.
There were a lot of ants in the room, also in the bed. They were biting us during the night and were also in my bag.
Also, we booked a daytrip for the sunrise, borobudur and prambanan via the hostel which was not a good recommendation at all. The driver was super chaotic and not prepared. We left the hostel at 03:30 to go see the sunrise. But first we had to pick up another tourist from the station. However he did not discuss with her where to meet. Eventually we had to call her via our phone to reach her. It took us more then an hour to leave town which led to that we where late for the sunrise. After that we went to the borobudur and arrived there at 07:00. The driver went to buy tickets for the tour at 08:30 but it was sold out. (you had to buy the tickets online, which apparently he did not know..). Therefore we had to do the tour at 09:30 and let us waiting for 2,5 hours. We made the best out of it but we woke up early for nothing. Not a good trip although everything was really beautiful. So dont book this trip and check other trips to the borobudur and prambanan with a driver/guide who is helpful.
And another tip: it was bad weather. Dont do a sunrise tour, even if someone tells you there is (check it with other local people or tourists). There is no sunrise so you wake up early for nothing special.

A kitchen with a fridge, drinking water and gas stove, location is really good too, many nice coffee shops and vegetarian restaurants nearby. Staff was easily reachable by what’s app and kind. I was arriving late and they made sure I can find my bed at night. Outdoor area seems nice.
The shower curtain in the dorm was brown and in serious need of replacement. The bed was very basic, no hooks or a little shelf to arrange your things, no windows. Room temperature was quite low and I was very cold at night as you don’t get a duvet or a blanket, just a cotton cover.
