The staff were pleasant.
I would not stay here again for many reasons including an exposed and outdoor "en-suite", creatures in our villa, dated decor and an unsafe location. When I book anything I check reviews thoroughly. It's unclear to me why the reviews for this location are so high and my experience was quite the opposite. Very disappointing.
For the 2 bedroom villa, "en-suite" was outside and fully exposed from the bedroom. This means if you want to use the bathroom you will be OUTSIDE and you must lock the ROOM door. Not practical given the bedroom has enough beds to sleep 3 people, at least.
The last day we had a mess on the floor and table. We saw a creature that resembled a cat, but wasn't a cat. Upon reaching out to the property we were told it was likely a cat. Later on we were told it was due to "fruit" bats (?). Cats, bats or a cat-in-a-hat. Not something I wanted to be dealing with on vacation.
The pictures make the villa look really sleek. It is old. The pool water is cold. Again, not what I was expecting.
Finally, getting to and from this location requires walking through alleys. At night, they are not lit. It is quite unsafe to get in and out of given the dark, tight alleys and constant motorbike traffic.
If I were to visit Seminyak again, I would easily pay 2x or 3x what I paid here to stay on the beach. I visited the beach and saw the hotels there. A much better option.

We have loved staying at Villa Elleo, it is an Oasis of calm in Seminyak. The planting is beautifully curated and both pools are lovely. We were 3 families with kids ranging from 5-16 staying and used all the rooms which were beautiful, comfortable, clean and with fantastic bathrooms. The communal areas are great for getting together, chatting and playing games.
The staff Yanti, Nyoman, Made and Kadek our security guard are so friendly and helpful and worked very hard to make our stay feel special and perfect. They had great suggestions for things to do, day trips and places to eat as well as providing a delicious breakfast that was received well by all. They were very helpful and couldn't do enough despite the chaos of 3 families with children. We had issues with our flight being cancelled and Yanti, Nyoman and Kadek were so kind and helpful and reassuring, they made a potentially stressful time much more manageable and turned it into a highlight, standout day with their suggestions on how to fill the day and please our kids of various ages (something for everyone) and organising drivers. We chatted with and met the owner who was very friendly, attentive and helpful.
Everyone went above and beyond what we would expect at a villa.

This Villa was an amazing oasis in central Seminyak, perfect for a large family group of 14 with adults and kids. The rooms were beautiful, all with ensuite bathrooms. The 2 pools were great and the communal facilities and layout allowed us to all be together for meals or games when we wanted but allowed quiet time when needed too. The decoration & layout is done beautifully. The location is in the heart of Seminyak so everything is close by. The Villa can be rented by smaller groups as it consists of 2 bed and a 4 bed Villas that connect. The communication with the owner pre and post arrival was quick and very helpful and the team assisting in the Villa were also great. They provided a breakfast on a morning of our stay which was spectacular! We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 5 stayed at the 2-Bedroom villa at Villa Elleo from the 26th to the 29th of June 2024 on our first ever visit to Bali. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, we could not fault a single thing. The villa was beyond my expectations. The staff are exceptional - Yanti, Neoman, Made and Kedak made sure we were happy with our stay. They made us a wonderful breakfast on day 2 and helped us with recommendations for restaurants, shopping and money changing places. They even connected us with our lovely driver Wayan. The villa owner Jerry was very hospitable and came in to say Hi to us every day. What we loved about the location was that it was in a very quiet street but just a two minute walk to the main road. It was convenient to walk to Seminyak Square, and just a 20-minute stroll to Pettitenget and Seminyak beaches. Would recommend anyone visiting Seminyak to stay at Villa Elleo, and we hope to stay here again on our next visit to Bali.
We had the best stay. Would definitely recommend Villa Elleo anytime.

Very nice, confortable house in a quiet but also very central neighbourhood. The staff were more than helpful and gave us all the necessary assistance so that everything went smoothly during our short period at Villa Ellio!

Our trip to Seminyak was wonderful because of the care and attention of the amazing staff - Yanti, Nyoman, Made and Kadek. We felt well taken care of and valued customers. The facilities met our needs perfectly and the private banquette at the villa for our group was something special.

The property managers/cleaners were very kind and diligent. The owner kindly upgraded us and allowed us to use an extra room for my sick mother in law. The location was fantastic, the property was beautiful.
The swimming pool, although large, deep and beautiful had an acidic smell and made your skin sting, and gave my daughter a rash. Which meant we really couldn't enjoy the pool at all during our stay. The poor hardworking pool cleaner said that due to the design of the thatched roof over-hanging the pool, every time it rained (and it was rainy season so every day) it would wash the dirt and bacteria into the pool. Such a pity.

The location was amazing. It’s right in the greenest part of Seminyak, close to shops, bars, restaurants and spas. The staff are friendly, highly reliable and will play traditional music for you and cook the most amazing dishes and give you different choices. The villas are devine. The rooms are big. The beds are comfortable. The aircon is perfect. The showers heat up quick which is important. They have absolutely everything you need and the place is immaculate. The way it is set up means you gan have groups or smaller parties and everyone will be comfortable. And if the people make the place the staff are just amazing. The house keepers, the security guard and the owners. Perfect communication and really you cannot fault these guys. They’ve thought of everything. I’ll be back with a bigger group and for longer.
I didn’t like the fact I had to travel to the next place. I didn’t want to leave.

Made delighted us daily with culinary masterpieces, turning each meal into an event to look forward to. Kadek's diligent assistance and security around the villa added an extra layer of convenience and safety to our stay. The luxurious setting, with its modern tropical design and lush gardens, was further enhanced by the team's dedication. Their hospitality, combined with the villa's tranquil yet vibrant location in Seminyak, made our vacation truly rejuvenating. Whether we were lounging by the pool, exploring the local boutiques, or enjoying the nightlife, we knew we had a peaceful oasis to return to. The location was so close to everything important! Villa Elleo, with its exceptional staff, is a rare find that offers both luxury and a personalized touch.

Villa Elleo was simply supurb! Rooms are spacious. Location is ideal (so close to the best of Seminyak!). The Staff are kind and considerate. The pool is stunning!

My husband and I recently stayed at Villa Elleo and were extremely happy with the service provided by the staff, the cleanliness of the villa and its location. We were able to easily walk to many great restaurants, cafes and the beach. The staff cleaned the villa daily which was a real treat. We both got massages in the villa which were great value and made us feel very relaxed. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Villa was beatiful and very clean. Sunscreen, insect repellent etc all provided. Spacious rooms and fantastic outdoor bathrooms. Set off from the main street so nice and quiet too. Staff were lovely, very helpful, and kept everything immaculate.
