This resort is a fantastic quaint location that has a lovely beach with stylish cottages. Sarah (owner), Andrew (manager), and all the staff are lovely and made us feel welcome. Collectively, they were very willing to accomodate our trips to Tangkoko Reserve, dolphin tour, and multiple snorkeling trips. The food was fantastic. Over 7 days, we were never served a repeat lunch or dinner and the meals were delicious. There were six in our party and we all loved this place. I hope to return and will highly recommend this resort to friends and family. A truly wonderful week.

Bobocha is a gem. The staff, workers and boat helpers were superb. Sarah and Andrew went out of their way to be helpful,informative and friendly. We loved our time there, outstandi g snorkeling,taking a tour to Tangkoko N.P, dolphin spotting, even help to straighten our flight missteps. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough.its worth every penny as well as being reasonably priced. This is where you want to stay!!

Beautiful location right on the beach. You can also snorkel straight out the front on a fabulous reef. The food was also excellent.
The diving was a highlight – great instructors and staff, new gear, and fantastic dive and snorkel sites. I always felt safe and would highly recommend it as a place to learn to dive.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, even arranging to return the shoes I left behind.
Note: there’s no electricity or hot showers during the day. We didn't notice as we just used power banks and had Indonesian fresh water bucket showers.
We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Bobocha Siladen was a fabulous place to relax on the beach and we enjoyed the small island feel.

This was my second time staying at Bobocha Resort, and once again, it was an unforgettable experience. Where to start?? Should we begin with how breathtakingly beautiful this island is… the clarity of the water, the calm serenity of the beach, the spectacular and healthy coral reef just steps from shore? Or should we start with how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff is—how absolutely welcoming Sarah and her wonderful team are, making every guest feel like family?
Should we begin with the food—rich, flavorful, and diverse—where every meal was a celebration of culture and taste? Or maybe with the sunsets, which came each evening like an explosion of color across the sky? What about the snorkeling—an experience as magical as it was unforgettable—or the professionalism and warmth of the boat and dive operators?
Every day felt like a gift, wrapped in beauty, kindness, and adventure. The dining table was a place of connection, where people from all over the world came together, bound by a shared love for nature and exploration. This place is truly unique, truly magical. And if there’s only one thing we can tell you, it’s this: Go there!

Every detail is very well taken care of with a remarkable attention to sustainability. Food is very good and fresh. Even if you don't choose your dishes there's a great variety and they accommodate any need. Having meals on the beach is priceless. Their diving team is excellent and very knowledgeable. We truly recommend them for their service, attention to safety, and bright smiles. Sarah, Andrew, and the team are great hosts.

This place was amazing. We went there for diving and the experience was excellent. The guides on the dive were fabulous and the places they took us to dive were spectacular. What impressed me was the safety, the dive team take safety very seriously. A novice diver, I became so much more confident. Oh and the food was fantastic.

We recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed some positive aspects. The house reef is absolutely beautiful, and the beach is well-maintained and clean. The food was also quite tasty, and the staff tried their best to make our stay pleasant, though there were a few issues with the overall experience.
Unfortunately, we found the atmosphere to be a bit strange and unwelcoming. The staff seemed distant at times, almost as though they were unsure how to interact with guests. We noticed that when staff members were not busy raking the beach, they were often hard to find when we needed assistance, which left us feeling a bit disconnected.
Another downside was the pricing, which felt excessive for some services, particularly things like boat transfers and a rushed 10-min dive refresher for the price of a full dive. On Sundays, when the public boat service isn’t available, the hotel seemed to take advantage of the lack of alternatives by charging insane rates for transfers to the mainland.
To make matters worse, when we were leaving, one staff member attempted to convince us to cancel our Grab ride in favor of a much more expensive taxi from his personal contact. This left us with a bad impression.
Despite these issues, we still appreciated the beautiful location and the hard work of the staff. However, we left feeling that the experience was overpriced for what we received. It didn’t quite live up to the warm and welcoming Indonesian hospitality we've come to cherish, and unfortunately, we felt as though we were being treated more like walking wallets than valued guests.

Wished that there were more drink options such as juices, and also some cakes or something for tea/dessert. We also didn't realise that there was no electricity in the day before booking. Perhaps this could be made clearer in the hotel's description

Sarah and her well-trained staff took good care of us, from cleaning the beach first thing in the morning to preparing excellent meals three times a day. The location is sublime, on our first morning when we were served breakfast on the beach, gazing across the sea at the volcano in the distance we knew we were not going to regret booking this one! We had been travelling around Indonesia for a month and this was our last week, and what a week! …..The diving….superb. The accommodation ….superb. The food …. Divine. And the service just incredible. This little piece of paradise is owned and run by Sarah and nothing was too much trouble for her or her staff . Thanks

Beautiful little resort run by Sarah & her team with a great set-up to have common meals at night in a most wonderful "picture perfect long dinner table" at the beach.
The combination of such a well looked after and beautifully built little resort and the superb location right on the beach with such friendly and caring people makes this place a very special one.
Sarah, the host is very caring and gives you a feeling of being very welcome in her little paradise.
The food provided was of very high quality, served directly at the beach in the sand. Very romantic as well as a great thing are the common meals in the evening with beautiful lights, very nice dishes and different people from around the world.
Breakfast and lunch gets served at a smaller, private table close to the sea with stunning views and also excellent food of your choice ( breakfast ).
We had a beach villa with a lovely patio facing the sea. The villa itself was spotless clean, a very comfortable bed, fan, ac, big bathroom, nicely decorated and offered always fresh drinking water.
The beach feels very privat and you can swim, snorkel and relax all day long.
The reef was just a footstep from the beach and there was plenty to discover including sea turtles, buffer fish, rays, octopus, lion fish and others.
The captain and snorkelling guide Andreas is also to be mentioned as a very friendly, nice and caring guy.
We went with him on a night-dive ( or better "night snorkelling trip" ) , which was an unforgettable experience for my daughter & myself. Andreas spotted each and every possible creature down there. We saw so many creatures at that night trip, we had never seen before and didn´t even know that they exist. We felt very comfortable and safe being with him in the water during night-time.
The attention of the resort to create life-time memories and to get to meet people from around the world is achieved excellently!

The location was amazing with beautiful sunsets and close proximity to some of the best world snorkelling spots ever, with an excellent house reef too. The host, Sarah was great, friendly, helpful and spoke English very well. Sarah's food was plentiful and very well prepared, with amazing huge servings of fish and a variety of salad and vegetables and the usual rice. There was wifi in the rooms too, which was great. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of space for storing clothes and hanging up wet swim suits and gear.
The boating crew and snorkelling guide were exceptional, and also a lot of fun to be with with good attention to safety. Sarah's team were sweet, kind and very helpful. I loved that dinners were served from one table and that was great being a single person, as one had to connect with the other visitors, at least at supper time. I have stayed friends with some of the people I met at Bobocha.
Air conditioning was only at night, but I didn't mind that, as we were out most of the day in the sea snorkelling. I did not have hot water in my shower, but the air temperature, being so hot anyway meant it didn't bother me too much. The room has wooden shutters and no curtains, just net sun filters, but it was fine you just had to remember to close the wooden shutters at night. The bathroom floors were a bit too slippery and some rubber mats there would have been a good idea. Some of the islanders were burning something nearby that didn't smell too pleasant, especially at night.

Very romantic place to stay and Sara will do everything to give you the best experience you can imagine.

Somewhat pricey taking in mind the general Indonesian standards we where used during our trip
Staff may be a little bit more pro-active towards guest while you have to search for them in the main building if you want to arrange/order things.

My wife and I spent 6 nights at the Bobocha Siladen resort in September 2024.
We really enjoyed this resort, its perfect position in the island, the very friendly staff and the possibility to have all meals outside on the beach.
Special mention to the food which was always really good !!
It's possible to access to the reef starting from the sandy beach, or walk to the jetty of the island which is not far away from the Bobocha resort.
The house reef is really beautiful for divers and snorkelers, we also did snorkeling trips to Bunaken which were amazing.
We hope to return to this resort in the future.

Electric Power in the resort is only available from sunset to sunrise, but we already knew this before arriving and it was not a big problem.

The staff is excellent, and the food was very good. The boat and crew are top notch, and very attentive to divers and snorkelers.
No fault of the resort, but there is only electricity and air conditioning from 5:30 pm to 7 am.
