It's definitely noisy because of the near by trains, earplugs are a must.
The Bathroom, though clean, was smelling bad..

Close to train station and walking distance to centre of the city and attractions.
Good value for the price considering location. Clean room and helpful staffs. Plenty of places nearby to eat and buy drinks, etc.
I stayed for 3 nights, and I felt comfortable at the hotel. The area is busy but that wasn't a problem, I slept well and was able to see many sites in the city and easily hire a motorbike for my Bromo trip.

Great location and very clean
Hand towel provided but no bath towel. Very noisy restaurant with people screaming on loudspeakers attached. No bedside table lamp.

Close to train station and other forms of transport that we needed for our short stay in Malang
Very loud due to the building next door playing loud music until 11pm on both nights of our stay. Few restaurants in surrounding area but not the hotels fault

Fantastic value! Very clean, well located right next to the train station, yet super quiet. The bed was comfy, clean bathroom, helpful staff and a great café next door serving delicious food. Also an alleyway right beside the guesthouse full of local warungs. Honestly can't recommend enough, best bang for your buck

Staff were amazing, arranging for our washing to be collected, washed & returned to us. I broke my glasses and they gave me some super glue to fix them. Very one to the train station, a couple of bar's within a 10/15 minute walk.

Clean, modern hotel on a main street meters from railway station, but hotel rooms set well back so quiet. Superb retuarant, Ocean Garden, next door.
Perhaps a little soulless, but you can't have everything.
