I really liked this place. The exterior is renewed, so i missed it from the road at beginning, they rebuilt facade, made big signboard and parking space. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The house is really big and has many spaces with chairs, tables, kitchen, coffee and tea space, many books to read. Outside are chairs and tables, where you can have your coffee and enjoy moment. Very interesting design of interior and inner yard. Room has everything for stay: ac, wifi, hot shower. The mattress is very comfy. I would definitely come back. Its clean and comfortable. Kinda atmosphere of summer house for vacation, where you can chill.

I booked 2 nights but only stayed 1 in the end because I booked a tour that left early the next morning, so it's difficult for me to fully rate the hotel, BUT...
- Very friendly staff. Helpful and gave advice. Immediately offered a refund for my second night (even though I didn't ask them too). 10/10, thank you ladies!
- I arrived early on the night train and they let me check in early, which was VERY WELCOME. Thank you so much for that.
- Cool decor in the house, nice place to relax.
- Decent kitchen area with tea, coffee, cups, kettle etc.
- AC worked well, bed was large and comfy.
- Small but decent enough desk.
- Food, shops, supermarkets pretty close by.
- Few mosquitoes in the room.
- WiFi/internet seemed a bit spotty. Apparently it was better outside the rooms.

It was fantastic! I really loved the hotel. It's got a very cool and quirky style. The rooms are nice and comfortable. There's a lot of places to go to eat. But I think the highlight is the personnel. They were so welcoming and nice to me. They helped me with every single little thing. They went extra mile to help me with the booking (finding the motorbike, doing laundry, reserving nice rooms). I really loved it! I stayed here twice, and to be honest, I hope if I ever go back to Malang I'll stay here again too! Thank you very much for this service!

The location was walking distance to food etc and being on a fairly busy road it was also pretty quiet and peaceful.
The staff were always available to help and always smiling and friendly.
The room was nice as was the gardens and surroundings.
I rented a motorbike for a few days to go see the sights which the hotel helped me organize.

Loved this place! Clean, neat, well maintained. Hot water, good water pressure, AC worked well. Slept well. There’s free coffee and tea, plus a fridge. It’s quiet even if it’s close to the road, walking distance to lots of warungs, restos, coffee places etc. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors to just sit and read etc. Best part is the staff: super friendly and welcoming!!

Big spacious room, air con worked super well. Bathroom and everything nice and clean. Little kitchen to use with free tea and coffee etc.
we thought we would need the kitchen during Ramadan but actually there was lots of food options open around the city so it wasn’t a problem to find food or get grab delivery.
Staff very nice and welcoming.
Lots of comfy seats to sit in around the property too.
When we arrived there was a few mosquitos in the room but someone heard us squatting them and brought us spray from reception. After we used the spray there were no more for the entirety of our stay.

Lovely guest house, with friendly and helpful staff. They provided many recommendations for my stay in Malang. Rooms were comfortable with good AC and shower. Coffee, tea and filtered available. Small kitchen available to use. In a quiet location but close to restaurants etc.
Rooms not dark enough overnight, due to bright lights in courtyard.

The staff really went out of their way to help and recommend with trips, taxis etc.. You feel as if you have a whole house to yourself and no need to go out if you just want a tea or coffee.. its available for free.. Feels a very local and professional place to stay.. Great value for money especially if there are 2 of you.

Good spot for walking to lots of different food options. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful with suggestions and looking into bike rentals/driver prices for us! Hot water in the shower and free water, coffee, and tea available all day!

It was fine. Clean, had everything you might need etc. If the English speaking staff was there, they were nice and helpful.
If you look at the little things, you see that it is still a cheap place to stay. We had a queen bed with windows to the inside. Unfortunately, the lights of the guesthouse in the courtyard and corridors was so bright that the room couldn't get dark.
The shower was either realllyyy hot or cold. Bot super comfy.
The toilet seat cover clapped shut automatically, which was quite annoying ?

Lovely little guest house in Malang. I stayed in the cheapest room type and although it was basic it was very comfortable. Worth upgrading for a nicer/more modern shower if you can. It was very clean and staff always friendly and helpful. There's a small kitchen area with free tea, coffee and water and I was able to cook a basic meal as well. Nice sofas in the communal areas to relax in as well.
The standard rooms have typical basic showers- worth upgrading to a more modern/screened off shower.
As the rooms face out into a sunny courtyard, which is lit at night, blackout curtains would make a big difference.
