Great location, villa is on the older side but is still comfortable
$1500 AUD was stolen from out of our travel wallet that was sitting in a safe, and $100 AUD out of a wallet that was sitting on a table on a day when we were out all day and the staff were there, police were called, but were absolutely no help at all. We wasted half a day filing a police report and got nothing for it.
We also stayed at the same place last year and had an Apple Watch disappear and some wedding and engagement rings go missing and then turn up in a very obvious place a few days later, on that occasion we gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after our most recent experience Id say our suspicions were correct.
The staff seem like very lovely people, but the fact the money went missing on the one day were were out all day and nothing was picked up on the CCTV, I can only assume that one of them or at least someone they know stole the money.
From that point on we asked to have no staff on-site until we had checked out, kids didnt feel safe knowing that someone was going through our stuff, so it really ruined what was a very nice holiday in the beginning, definitely would not return or recommend to anyone ever again.

We had a lovely stay at Baliana Villa with our family, the property was spacious and great to be able to have space after a week in a hotel room. Our family LOVED the pool table and area upstairs, great to have different zones to relax. Older style Bali Villa close to Double 6 beach.
The bathrooms and pool are a little run down - tiles outside pool area very slippery when wet. We weren't 100% sure how to use the housekeeping service and assumed towels would be replaced. Would be great to have an information sheet available for guests.

The villa was ideal for our family of four adults and two children (grandparents, children and grandchildren). We couldn't keep the children out of the large pool which was warmer than most because it gets a lot of sun. The grassed area was used to kick a football.
We used the Cabana to relax.
The kitchen helped as young children don't like eating out too often so we could prepare simple meals ourselves or bring in take out food.
The location is fantastic. It's a short walk to shopping and a good range of restaurants.
The villa came with a dedicated maid who worked from 8 to 4 each day. She cooked a meal for us a handled all the housekeeping. When we supplied the funds, she cooked for us and kept us supplied with fresh fruit of our choice.
Would highly recommend the villa for a family or a small group of adults.
There wasn't anything we didn't really like.

An absolute gem in Legian. Loved the pool and garden area and the traditional Bali architecture. Close to everything and easy walk to the beach. Lovely staff, can highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Baliana Villa. It was exactly as shown in the photos and a great location with just a short walk to the beach. The villa is very large and traditional and the pool table went down a treat with the kids as did the pool. It's in a quiet location, not in the tourist heart of Legian which we much preferred. Thank you Desak, Julie and Surya for your kind hospitality and Surya for being there bright and early to take my boys surfing. It certainly was appreciated to have a driver at the villa! We will definitely be back! :o)
