The hotel has potential. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was big and clean. There was free transport from and to the ferry port. There is not much around the hotel, but we were able to rent a motorcycle and that made travelling around the island very easy.
I guess we didnt arrive at a good time, because almost none of the hotel facilities were working. Only the hotel cafe was open (the restaurant was closed) with very limited selection of food, with almost no vegetarian options. Our stay was not long so it was okay but you should consider this if youre planning on staying longer. There was some reconstruction done at the hotel which didnt impact our stay.

the hotel far from town, which is good if you really liked quiet & stay over from city. chill & relax : here is the right villa
it the same from the 1st were there in 2019. The only different is the bathroom area has renovated but the shower handle is broken, water is either too hot or too cold. Cleanliness: 3/5

Our rooms were well-maintained and clean. Staff were helpful in getting drivers and maintained friendly attitudes throughout our stay. Our breakfast food were delicious and the friendly stray kitty was the cherry on top. Staff were quick to respond if kitty tried to steal our food. The view of Gunung Bintan from the rooftop cafe was beautiful. Since our room was up the hill, we'd usually call for a buggy to go up or down, and the staff always responded to our requests for one timely.
We came during the non-peak season so it was basically only me and my partner at the resort. To get to our rooms we had to get a buggy which was fine but since it was non-peak, when we came back around 8/9pm, the reception was closed. We didn't feel safe walking up in the dark. Thankfully our driver knew where to find the hidden staff members to bring us up on the buggy. I was really hoping to take a dip in the pool but after seeing the condition of the flooring at that area, we gave it a miss as we didn't think it was well maintained. Rooftop cafe has nice menu, but food takes awhile to come up as the kitchen is located at the ground floor. So bear that in mind.

Has a great newly bathtub. Toilet is big spacious & clean.
No staff to attend to after 9pm as well as No operator too to attend to any phone call in order we to make any request order or enquiry. Pillow provided only 1 for individual & quite old.

The staff was very friendly. The concpt is good.
Facilities were poorly maintained. Animals in the zoo appeared neglected and very sad. Even fishes at the lobby were sick. Lake was polluted.

Peaceful place in a beautiful location. Very nice staff, they tried to accommodate for us but unfortunately the place has poor maintenance overall, probably due to covid.
There was practically no wifi. Some villas had wifi but ours could not even connect. We changed rooms and the connection was okish. Mosquitoes everywhere. My bathroom window upon check in was left open so when I entered a mosquito flew in a few minutes later and buzzed on my head all night. Geckos in the rooms. 3 geckos in my room running around all night making noises.

Nothing. Wont recommend.
The hotel was secluded. Dirty. Not well maintained. We were accompanied by bugs the whole night. Spider web in the bathroom, cupboards. Smelly toilets. Room was small. Receptionist was not aware and not equipped to run the business.

Disappointing
The staff tried their best to make the stay comfortable. Appreciate the effort. Restaurant food was homemade and decent.
The resort was too far from the beach. Too many mosquitos. The staff was not knowledgeable about the facilities in their own resort. Shower was broken. Hotel arranged a snorkelling visit. The trip was extremely disappointing. We were not taken to visit the beach. Only taken to a very murky part of the ocean with no coral reefs or marine life visible.
