Sun Suko is a beautiful boutique hotel! The resort is beautifully decorated, and the overall effect is one of peace and calm. You can't help but relax here. The staff is wonderful! They went above and beyond and were always there with a smile on their faces, ready to answer any questions we had. Our room (Queen) was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There were extra touches as well - beach bags, coffee maker, small refrigerator, which made our stay that much more comfortable. The large bathroom had beautiful stonework and a gorgeous open-air shower brought the beauty of the outside in. We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner over the course of our stay, and all of our meals were delicious - fresh, very tasty, made with local ingredients. There's plenty to do in Pemuteran, and the staff was great in arranging temple tours, snorkel trips to Manjangan Island (highly recommend), cars and drivers for longer trips, and giving directions. The resort also provides bikes for exploring in and around Pemuteran. They say time flies when you're having fun, which proved to be the case for our time at Sun Suko. Our week flew by. This is one of those places you don't forget!

Amazing resort, incredibly peaceful and quiet. The resort grounds are so well maintained and put together. The staff is fantastic, very attentive and kind and always went above and beyond to accommodate us. Big room with huge outdoor bathroom. We stayed for 11 nights and wish we could have extended even more. Pemuteran offers great diving and Sun Suko - although not beachfront - was the perfect place for us to relax after a day of diving. We can't wait to return!

The room was spacious, but the large terrace lacked furniture. Location; I liked it was off the main road, but near to other shops and restaurants. The free bicycles was a really nice touch and we used them almost everyday (some of them need some maintenance though). As it is a small place with a handful of rooms, it was never crowded. The pool was nice.
We found breakfast very basic and tedious ordering in advance everyday with timings, a buffet offering would be better. Sometimes I felt like we were being interrogated in terms of where we were going or what we were doing eluding to the question of why we didn't book via the resort. I'm not sure of you can call it a yoga resort without offering free daily yoga? Yoga can be booked as an add-on. For the price we paid, replacement towels and clean sheets would have been nice as we stayed for 6 nights. The rooms need better soundproofing due to lots of noise very early in the morning.

The resort is beautiful with beautiful decor and style. It gives you a feeling of serenity and calmness as soon as you step inside the premises. The food was also very good.
The property was perfect. One thing we can recommend is to have a bicycle for kids.

Staff were polite and ready to accommodate. We ate at the hotel throughout our stay and food was great but had to wait a long time to be ready. Waking up to the sounds of the birds & farm animals behind our room was lovely.
There wasnt water when we used the bathroom in the night, maybe due to outage or saving water that we were unaware of. The hotel pick up was late for almost 2hrs but we had to nudge for info just before pick up time before this came to light. We were gifted free massages which we are thankful of. The dated van that picked us up though wasn't ideal and very uncomfortable for a 4hr drive. When booking the airport transfer back, we asked for a better car and was told the van we got on the way over was not their usual, but again this was not pre-empted to set our expectations. There were no bedroom slippers which was a little off since all the staff walked in with shoes on so I had to buy my own for the stay. Maybe my expectations for a highly rated hotel wasnt managed well on my part but I guess this could be the best option if you're staying in that area particularly. Shame the balcony was badly lit as we could have spent our evenings on it. As early as 5am we could hear our neighbours(potentially not hotel guests but locals living nearby) blasting club tunes...

The beautiful pool and sunset Mountain View.
The stuffs talk, laugh, partying loud like no guests. Not for 10 mins or half hour, but the entire afternoon. When they were having fun, three rooms guests were quiet chilling by the pool and suffering by their noise, they dont know how many eyes look at them. And apparently they dont care. They obvious dont like to be told. The service were turn bad after it. Also The neighbor play super loud music from 8:30 am - 22:00 on and off either. I booked 2 nights and plan nothing just want to chill and relax, but here is not the one.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Loved the elevated yoga space which I used for private practice, the secluded nature of Sun Suko though the property is along a village lane so sounds of livestock through the day pleasant. Lovely pool, free bicycles to take you wherever you wish to go locally for us was to the beach for ocean swims and to have the odd meal.

Beautiful, secluded location and our room enjoyed the best of the splendid mountain view. Calm, kind, helpful staff who organised trips and car transfers for us, taking away all the stress, as well as just being so friendly. Lovely pool, a little gym, great free breakfast (home-baked English muffins!) & plentiful filtered water (in glass bottles) - we should really have spent more time in town, but it was quite difficult to leave the hotel Would also recommend booking a yoga lesson with Ari - her yin practice was very relaxing and shes a lovely person.

This is an extraordinary oasis down a small street off the main road in a relatively quiet village in the Pemuteran area. The rooms and grounds and pool are immaculately clean, constantly maintained, and artfully decorated. The owner, Anja, was formerly a fashion designer and her sense of style is evident everywhere. The food is very tasty and high-quality. The breakfasts are so large that we usually took home a portion of them to eat later. They make a homemade dark brown bread that was the best we have had anywhere in Bali.. Its just a half-kilometer walk to the main road where there are good restaurants, small grocery stores, laundries, and shops. They have free bicycles to use, if you would rather not walk. Sun Suko is happy to arrange any tours you want, as well as drivers and shopping. They offer a wide variety of tour packages, as well as on-site massage and yoga. We took the snorkeling tour to Menjangan Island and it was amazing. Best snorkeling we have ever experienced. We also took the birding tour into Bali Barat National Park and were able to see the Bali starling and many other cool birds.
There is nothing we didnt like about the property, service, or location. However, Sun Suko takes a cut of everything you arrange through them: tours, massages, drivers, etc. The prices for everything that you arrange through Sun Suko are higher than the prices you would be charged if you arranged it yourself. Its nice to have them organize everything and you know you are getting quality, reliable service when you book through them, so its worth the extra cost in my opinion. But if you are on a budget, you can save money by hiring your own drivers, arranging your own tours, and finding your own masseuse.

Located in the heart of Pemuteran this place is a precious diamond!
Rooms are spacious and decorated with a very good taste. There is a thought behind every detail and it gave a feeling of being home.
The restaurent serves unbelievable amount of sophisticated healthy meals.
I had best ever included breakfast.
All the food is cooked with love and deep philosophy.
The owner is a sweet heart and the energy of the whole place is very peaceful and inspiring.

Everything. Such a beautiful property that is maintained perfectly and spotlessly clean. The location is idyllic with just 9 rooms in separate buildings surrounding a beautiful pool that we used everyday. From almost everywhere in the property there is a beautiful view of the mountains which was probably the best from our upstairs room, with a beautiful balcony. The breakfast was really good, as was the dinner and we made use of the spa facilities having massages and facials whilst we were there, which were really excellent. One of the things that makes the property stand out, apart from the lovely location with beautiful views, was the staff who were all so friendly and professional and happy to help in any way they could. Would definitely come back if returning to Pemuteran, and apart from the snorkeling in Pilau Menjangan Island (which was wonderful), Sun Suko would be the main reason to return - so beautiful. Also loved their cat
