The views from the entire property are beautiful. Each villa (we stayed in two) is spacious, private, well decorated, and relaxing to be in. The food at the restaurant was homemade and natural, with dietary considerations always taken into account by the staff. Massages were excellent, accompanied by the calming sound of the waves breaking at the foot of the cliff. At night time, you could turn the lights off and see so many stars in the sky - it really is secluded. Finally, the staff were always warm, friendly, accommodating and professional. An absolutely perfect stay in paradise.
There really wasn't anything worth mentioning that could be improved - it was an incredibly relaxing experience and pleasant stay.

Amazing accommodation, staff and food in private, serene surroundings. No request is a problem and the service is fantastic! Communication is forthcoming and definitely luxurious. Treatments were sublime. Thank you Sabine and staff!
No dislikes but things to note..Never really saw or interacted with other guests so as a solo traveler, my only company was (beautiful) staff. Serene location is quite remote. Have to obtain a driver to go anywhere of interest, but if staying put, relaxing and not socialising is at the top of your list, then this is perfect. You need not leave the resort, or your villa for that matter! There are a lot of stairs so if you find them challenging it might be worth asking for a room with the least amount of them.

The stay could not have been better and was just perfect! With the warm welcome from the manager Sabine we knew from the first second that we had made the right choice. In this oasis of calm we could forget our stressful jobs at home and focus on the present moment. We haven't been this relaxed in ages. The sound of the sea, the beautiful view, the untouched nature, the luxurious villa and especially the loving and helpful people there have totally convinced us! The entire service team was always very friendly and attentive. We were very happy. The food was first class, very tasty and made from the best products from local farmers. We were provided free filtered water and it was refilled daily. We could eat and drink everything easily without worrying about "Bali Belly". Moreover we could always decide whether to enjoy the food in the villa or in the restaurant. In addition, Sabine gives an above-average effort in planning activities and making sure that we are fine. The drivers provided by Shunyata Villas Bali, Bokah and Kartika, also convinced us very much, they were extremely friendly, they know the most beautiful places and you can have a great conversation with them on long trips. In the village nearby you can walk and talk with the locals without hesitation, they are very warm and hospitable. We are very happy to come back and will remember the stay forever! It really felt like paradise! Thank you for the wonderful time!

1. Food - it was really important for us. And every breakfast and every dinner was exceptional! Especially Romantic Dinner set, especially perfectly cooked seafood and dessert.
2. Location - in sky villa it was amazing view and really calm surrounding.
3. SPA - amazing experience. They have special place outside, where you can hear sounds of sea.
4. Service - amazing staff. It was really comfortable to live there. All communication was perfect from 1st message in WhatsApp

Great views. Virgin beach nearby. Amazing for relaxation. Clean rooms and prompt room service.
Food was terrible. Dinner was okay but a la carte menu disappointing. Breakfast almost unedible. Restaurant closes at 10 pm so if you are jet lagged and are staying up make sure you bring snacks, nothing is open close by.

Super quiet and isolated! The infinity pool facing the ocean is beautiful, whether in your villa or the 30m one !
Staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Its all beautifully designed and natural.
Didnt realise it was more of a retreat type of place. Not much choice in terms of drinks, not much activity or happy hours to be expected.

The private pool and interior of the villa was amazing. We loved the privacy and quietness of the place. The food was great. I can highly recommend staying here as a couple.
There is no TV in the villa which was ok for us but might be a problem for others. Hot water ran out on our last day.

Great and healthy breakfast, served in the villa. Beautiful green surroundings, views at the ocean. Food is of the healthy and sustainable type, very appropriate for detox and of great quality and choice. Best place to stay put, relax and recover from life's stresses.
A bit far from the usual touristic attractions, Ubud, Denpasar. Spent quite a lot on transport going anywhere. No beach, have to go elsewhere for swimming, snorkling, diving.

This is an amazing property with incredible design and beauty in every direction. The staff are very attentive and seem to operate as a close knit family, even though they are not blood relatives. The views are spectacular; the rooms are top notch and comfortable. The food is prepared fresh each meal with love.
If you are looking to be busy with tours, etc. every day, this may not be your place as it is in a remote location. If you are looking for deep rest, comfort, beauty, and to be taken care of, look no further. We had already done our touring around Bali before we arrived here for our last 5 days of our vacation. It was a perfect way to end the trip!
