Wonderful
Very comfortable apartment/villa with a useful TV, easy-access drinking water and perfect air conditioners in every room. The laundry was beyond perfect. Relatively cheap price(17.000rp/kg) where you get your clothes fully washed with a nice smell to them and also with no wrinkles left and even beautifully folded.
The shower had a very low water power and not every scooter you could rent(which technically was very nice addition) was fully functioning. One had a broken mirror, loose registration plate and more.

Sahaja Sawah Resort was an amazing place to stay. Relaxing environment and high quality service from outstanding staff. We really recommend this place how have family and just want peaceful and relaxing vacation.
Unfortunately the location is far from everything in Bali. Just to go to the supermarket it will take you 40 min by car. So thats the only negative think about Sahaja Sawah Resort

The resort is gorgeous and very well maintained. As soon as we entered we were struck by awe.
The staff was very kind, polite and very responsive on Whatsapp.
The apartment had Everything you need even a fully equipped kitchen, but it's a shame there are no shops nearby. So if you want to cook, bring your groceries along when you come.
They provide free scooters, but if thats not an option for you, you would need a car as grab or gojek is also not easily found.
The 1st disappointment was the view. We came expecting the resort to be surrounded by beautiful rice fields as advertised in pictures. Instead we saw burnt up crops as shown in pictures. Please call and check before booking.
The 2nd disappointment was the food. The quality and taste needs major improvement. Servings are small and prices are a little bit on the higher side. There are no restaurants nearby so it can be at times your only food option.
The 3rd disappointment was when I asked for two extra pieces of bread in the breakfast and the waiter said it would be charged extra for it.
When I complained to the manager she let it go.

Absolutely great stay for our little family. The villa we stayed at was large, clean and comfortable; the restaurant, spa and common areas are all lovely and well maintained. And the staff are all absolutely wonderful and so kind. We loved how child friendly everything and everyone is and the resort provides cot, high-chairs, baby cutlery/ bowls, a play area, a trampoline, babysitting, bikes with baby seats etc. our 2yo loved it here and we didnt find anything quite like this family friendly anywhere in Bali. This said ,we would have has an equally wonderful stay pre-child as a couple. Also love the work the foundation does in the community. Highly recommended!
We loved the fact it was away from the more touristy part of Bali, surrounded by fields and sleepy villages. And there is lots to do if you take the bikes/motorcycles. But we did miss not having other restaurant options around ( there are however great warungs around you can go to and take away food)

All Staff were very attentive and accommodating.
The spa massage was the best I ever experienced. My whole family enjoyed it very much.
The room & furnishings were immaculately clean. Private villa pool is well maintained & water is very clean too.
The nearby black sand beach is 6 mins drive away, pristine waters, and very few tourists in Sept, quiet & private-like
Very convenient & well stocked mini Mart besides reception area.
1)Water dispenser machine wasn't working very well. The maintenance were very hands on and promptly gave a temporary solution when it wasn't working at all, next day changed a new cabling but somehow after a day, it went a bit haywire again (room temperature pressed but iced cold water came out. No hot water)
Anyway, it's a small matter... we used the microwave to heat up water to make hot drinks instead.
2) roads leading up to property were quite bad in some areas and it's very dark at night.

Peaceful place. Great pool for swimming. Had the opportunity to release 1 day old turtles into the ocean. Great to have bicycles included to explore the villages.
The bicycles were not in great condition.
Delays at times in responding to questions through wattsapp, which is their preferred method of communication.

We loved everything about this place. The beautiful flat, the friendliness of the staff, the comfort, the food, the spa, the pool. We also liked the fact that the resort is away from the crowds. Of course this means there are no pubs or restaurants around, but we like being in a quiet place surrounded by authentic villages. We were able to use a bikes or scooters (available free of charge at the resort) to get around and go to the beach. We used organised tours to visit places. So it was a perfect formula for us. Thank you to all the staff!

The accommodation was beautiful with views out the Indian ocean. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The resort was peaceful and in a quiet location. The day spa is tranquil, excellent service and reasonable prices. We relied on the hotel restaurant for all our meals, the menu included a vast array of local and western options and the food was all very good. Riding bikes through the villages and talking the locals provided a very different experience in Bali.
