The room was clean with a nice bathroom. Air con worked well and lots of hot water, Definately a cut above most other homestays. The breakfast added to the value. We will go back to Pondok Shindu.
There wasn't anything to dislike, Every thing is tidy and well kept. Staff very helpful we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful
Except swimming pool and night bar this accomodation offers everything you will need. Close to beach, beach bars, shops, atm, restaurants, etc... all in walking distance, very good value for money. Owner and family are kind and helpfull. Room is large and bed is very comfortable.

Wonderful
Breakfast was really good, not a lot of choice but we only stayed 2 nights so it was perfect for us. Good value for money. Very close to the beach.
The family who run it were lovely and helpful.
The room was not soundproofed.
We would have like a fridge as it was very hot when we were there.

booked by mistake as a similar hotel name on the beach but glad I did Staff fantastic 2 minutes from the beach and the main road beds soooooo comfy breakfast delivered to the room driver available at a decent price Great gardens The fridge in the main area real table and chair not the small seating area on your deck Water pump with a big bottle would happily stay again even though i thought I was booking a different place

Family run property. Quiet - this is important as there is a local mosque which starts broadcasting at about 4.30am. You can hardly hear the prayers from inside the room but it sets off every single rooster in the area, and luckily the neighbours did not have roosters. Great breakfast. Very clean facilities.. 2 minute walk to the beach (Not beach front). Snorkel hire at property. Close to local warungs. Really good internet service. Helpful with organising transport to next location

The location was great, there lots of restaurants nearby and shop on the corner. Biorock snorkelling very close. Great value for money. The water dispenser was greatly appreciated as I don't like having to use a lot of plastic bottles. Thanks for this!
I don't like having to book a time for breakfast as I never know when I may want it. The shower was very basic as in no shower head, just one stream of heavy water, it was fine though.

Location was awesome, only a short walk to the beach and the main road. Free wifi worked well. Room was extremely clean and the extra bed was a real mattress on the floor but was very comfortable. A/C worked well. There was a parking spot for our car, and the garden was beautiful. I appreciated the eco-friendly water refill station which they implemented rather than providing bottled water. A rinse station for snorkeling equipment was available, and each room had a drying rack on its porch. Porch had a breakfast table + padded bench, and the room had a desk and chair inside. There was a communal fridge available if you had a few small items to keep cool, and beer and drinks were available for puchase. The owners were very friendly and readily accessible. Payment by credit card was possible with a surcharge.
Breakfast had somewhat limited choice: fresh fruit and juice daily, then choose between Indonesian (nasi or mie goreng), European (1 egg + toast), or Continental (banana or tomato/cheese toasted sandwich). I was luckily able to sub toast for a second egg for my choice. The real problem with breakfast was the timing, as you selected choice and time the night before, but food would be delivered to your room's porch as much as 30min late if others ordered at the same time. If they'd told us that time X was busy, we'd have been happy to set our breakfast time 15min earlier. Downside to the room was that the walls were very thin, so the first two nights we had a baby on one side, followed by teenagers alone in the room on the other side who were talking loudly until 12:30am when I finally banged on their door and told them we could hear every word they were saying despite wearing earplugs.

Super friendly staff. Great breakfast. The walk to biorock snorkeling and the beach was only 2-3 minutes away. The room interior design is really nice and beautiful.

Lovely garden and friendly staff. Very close to a wonderfull beach. You can directly snorkling by the Biocoral where you can see a lot of beautiful fish.

Loved this place - our favourite place to stay in Bali Beruk and Karen are amazing hosts and their kids are gorgeous. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and everything was lovely!
The only thing that wouldve made it exceptionally perfect would have been a pool but otherwise amazing!

We loved our extended stay here. Run by a lovely family and located in a private garden setting, the location in Permuteran is great. It is away from the road with easy access to the beach and the Biorock reef. A delicious breakfast and a safe driver on hand. We appreciated that our hosts minimised plastic by providing a large container of water rather than single use bottles.

Neighborhood can get a little noisy at times (barking dogs, roosters, etc), but it's far enough from the main road so that road noise is not a factor.

This place simply had it all. It is not possible to get better value in its price range. On arrival, you are given a welcome tea drink and there are flowers everywhere.. There was a floral arrangement on the veranda table, on the bed and in the bathroom. So nice! The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The bathroom was a delight with a small garden and shower open to the sky. The breakfasts were incredible. There was a wide range of choice so we could have something different every morning for the four days we were there. Excellent main courses and drinks with fresh fruit as a bonus. Bayuk, the manager and his family were attentive to our every need. There is a lovely garden and a fish pond at the entrance. This accommodation is about 200 metres off the main road so it is quiet at night. And 300 metres down the road is the mainsnorkling area for Pemuteran beach. There is a coral restoration project than can be accessed from the beach. Good quality snorkle equipment can be hired for a reasonable price from the hotel.

Beautiful and cleanest room we've had in 7 weeks in Indonesia! Lovely host family that offer professional service. Breakfast was awesome with eggs, fruit, juice, tea/coffee served on your private terasse. Well away from the main road and only a short walk to Biorock. Also booked great daytrip to Pulau Menjangan and onwards transfer. Thanks for a memorable stay! Great value for money!
