The staff were amazing and very attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and looked-after. They helped us arrange taxis and called the Doctor for us when some were unwell, as well as translate for us and were very proactive. It was also nice having security on site if we needed. The staff definitely made our stay a 5 star experience. The villa itself was beautiful, the rooms were large and had great air-conditioning and facilities (including a safe, walk in robe, desk, storage,, TV etc.) The pool was lovely and the lounge area was really comfortable. We had a chef come to the villa for a group dinner and the villa staff helped us organise it. We went with the Indonesian banquet and it was delicious and so much food! They catered for the vegetarian and restrictive diet members of our group really well; it was appreciated. The daily breakfast was also amazing. I enjoyed the variety and flexibility of options - I think I ended up trying everything. I liked the pancakes and bacon the best. The staff were flexible on letting the unwell members stay a little longer after check-out and helped with getting them food and transport while the rest of us were out. The villa was always kept clean and cool and there were nice little touches like our beds and mosquito netting being arranged before bedtime. Always fresh water bottles in the room and always had access to cold water, coffee and tea.
The open outdoor bathrooms were aesthetically amazing but very humid so wasn't always comfortable when using the bathroom. There was also construction next door and the workers could see into our shower area - so we mostly showered in our bathers as not to flash them. The construction did ruin the tranquility a little bit, especially in the morning. Not so much a problem when you're out during the day but annoying if you were wanting to sleep-in or take a nap during the day. However, that's not the villa's fault, just worth noting. The location was good but not quite central, you could walk to the shops, cafes and the ATM (within 10mins) which was handy but there is a lack of sidewalks and it's not the safest roads to walk on. Suggest renting a scooter if you want to get around easily as the traffic is generally bad in Canggu. The villa was within 30mins drive of Seminyak and Finns beach club.

The butler service is fantastic. The chef they recommended for our party in the villa was good too. They take the trouble to buy birthday cake for our birthday gal. Really nice of them.

the villa was great. heaps of space and the pool was excellent
It is impossible to enjoy the villa during the day with the noise of construction next door. Loud pumps, concrete mixers, generators and hammers made this stay uncomfortable.
On a map the villa looks close to the beach but as there are no footpaths you cant get to the beach without taxi.

Putu, Ilu and Wyan (the house keeping team) were most certainly what made our stay as memorable and perfect as it was. Their attention to detail, proactiveness and lovely nature put all of us into a state of complete relaxation from the moment we arrived.
They took great care to make sure everything we needed was attended to, from preparing 5* breakfasts each day, booking massages, a private chef and even administering first aid to my brother in law (surf accident). However what made our stay even more relaxing was the care, attention and kindness they gave towards our 18 month old niece throughout the whole trip.
A special mention must also go to the professional and diligent security guards, who are at the property all night, helping us feel secure, especially when travelling with an 18 month old.
The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a perfect balance of traditional Balinese interior, meeting a more modern polished concrete style throughout. We couldnt name one downside to this propertys image.
And finally, the swimming pool really is as big as it looks! So much of the time these properties put on wide angle lenses to exaggerate living spaces and key features - Ipanema is without doubt even better in real life!

The villa is beautiful! The staff were very helpful and very attentive to detail. Location is also great - near the beach and near all the attractions in Canggu.
No signboard/directions to the villa which got us lost for a while. Loud music from Cafe Del Mar can be heard from the villa.

Amazing stay from start to finish. The villa is beautiful and immaculately kept. The staff were absolutely amazing, so pleasant and kind and the breakfast was so tasty. I will definitely recommend this villa and will most certainly be back.

Our stay was perfection! We were blown away at how beautiful and spacious the villa was. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and accommodating, they really made us feel at home right away. We honestly could not fault our time at Villa Ipanema and will be staying there again on our next trip to Bali.

The first point to mention would be the staff - they were absolutely wonderful and took amazing care of us. From the outset, in terms of going to the shops for us for essentials, making drinks, a SUPERB breakfast every morning or arranging transport. The team, led by Putu covered everything. They were in no way overbearing, simply took care of everything and made sure that we were having a great time.
The villa itself was in exceptionally good condition. The pool was beautiful. Each bedroom was looked after perfectly. The bathrooms were clean and beautifully presented in an outdoor setting.
The communal areas are perfect for larger groups. comfortable and inclusive.
It is, exactly how it was presented in the photos.
No issues whatsoever.
