I liked everything about Bukit Astri Lodge - the staff were amazing, especially Newman who went out of his way to make sure I got as much out of this trip as possible. The food was great and the house and gardens just beautiful. Where can say 11/10?

Wow, where should I start? We were actually the only hotel guests because it's currently low season. So we were treated like Kings and Queens. The room was so lovely and the super friendly staff gave us a free upgrade as part of our honeymoon which was really thoughtful. Room was spotlessly clean and bed was really comfortable and had a mosquito net. Bathroom was huge and the water pressure and temperature were great. Also toilet and shower were separated by a wall which means that the toilet didn't get wet when you showered which is a bonus. Really trustworthy amazing, outgoing staff and everyone so friendly. They even provided us with some tea time and a snack, and we had a kettle in the room. Breakfast and dinner was absolutely outstanding and really delicious. Pool was really really clean and great temperature. There were deck chairs too and sun umbrellas. They put some really cute flower decorations as part of our honeymoon for us. The hospitality was out of this world. They also have some really adorable local very friendly cats. Location was in a quiet area and not a lot around, so just be aware. We didn't have any challenge though getting a taxi from there. Staff helped us with carrying out luggage too. Really well maintained and beautiful garden. Absolute hidden gem for a great and very reasonable price.

During my Bali trip we stayed in 6 hotels of different price range. This place was the best! The cleanest, the most friendliest, it had its own cosy vibe. Nothing seems to be close to it, in terms of restaurants, but the lodge will feed you well and will take good care of you! Totally recommend

Breakfast and diner are very good! The property is very quiet, close to some temple and others activities. Thanks to Yuman who received me and helping me to know where are the best places to visit around! *INFO* they dont accept credit/debit card only cash!

The Lodge is well away from the usual tourist route, making it a great place to take a rest from everything. The gardens and grounds and buildings are completely lovely and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience and that all your needs are met. If you want to go somewhere quiet and peaceful (besides calls to prayer and roosters) and get away from it all, this is a great choice. Cars, bikes, drivers and tours can all be easily organized with the help of the friendly and helpful people who work here.
sometimes the sounds and noises from surrounding properties (mosques, temples and a school) and roosters and geckos) were a bit bothersome but mostly it was quiet. There are no restaurants or cafes in walking distance, but the food at the lodge was good. Be sure to bring enough cash to pay for your room and meals.

The property is nice and very green. The food at dinner or breakfast is very good. The staff was friendly and helped us with all we needed. The room is simple.

It is as beautiful as it looks like on the pictures and having the swimming pool available is amazing. The house is from the Dutch colonist time. The hosts are very friendly and accommodated us very nicely even after my wife got sick and needed some extra assistance.

The host was really helpful, provided us to another room. We booked wrongly a twin room and he helped us by changing the room, since we were also traveling with a small kid. The food was also very good. Quite place, nice pool and great garden. They tried to help us on any request.
You need a scooter to get to any place, but the host took care of it. No means of transportation in this part of the island (eg. Grag/Gojek), but we rented a car when we left (with this one they were not able to help us, even though they tried).
