Ketut picked me up from the airport for a very reasonable price and we drove to Amed in air conditioned comfort, via a dinner stop off at a delicious Lalapan. La Bila was a lovely place to stay with a comfy bed, super spacious room and fantastic breakfast, free water and super friendly staff! The bungalows are also set back a bit from the main road and were super quiet. There is a genuine feeling from Ketut and his team of wishing to help you out and ensuring you enjoy your stay in Bali, even if not staying with them - Ketut even helped move me and my baggage to a new accommodation (free ride) that was closer to a friend, even though I was leaving his! Ketut is now helping my friend and I out as a driver tomorrow to explore local attractions and I know we are in safe hands. Thank you Ketut and La Bila team!
If I was going to quibble, facilities are a little dated. But everything was clean and functional and the genuine kindness of the staff made up for it.

Nice and spacious room! Very friendly staff and good, simple breakfast. We could borrow snorkeling equipment for free which was very cool!

Mr Ketut and his family run this wonderful accomodation in a nice area in Amed beach. Amed is a collection of villages so hard to say what the center is, but the environment around La Bila is quite lively and has lots of restaurants.
We made use of the transportation Mr Ketut offered us from Ubud and to Sanur harbour for a decent price.
we also went on a divetrip, organised by La Bila and that was excellent and affordable.
especially the bathroom could use some renovation, but when we didnt have warm water, the owner replaced the boiler with a new one within a day.
