The garden and environment is a masterpiece. The neighbourhood is a bit separated and people are super friendly, feels like a big family, worth to walk around and speak few words or just share smile with locals. Here I never had the feeling, they are friendly becasue they want my money. You can visit a real farm right behind the hotel. Waterfall also in walking distance for free (or donation), not crowded at all. We didnt try, but the host offers exclusive tours / activities, not just the touristy day trips. Best waterfalls in 30 minutes
The room is simple puritan, but clean and fair for this budget. Not totally private, you share the terrace area with other room (deluxe room), on the other hand the hotel was fully booked but I had no feeling like crowded at all

Just got back from Asli Bali Villa and it was totally awesome. The villa's quiet ambiance provided a perfect escape. The foods were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist, especially TJ, were incredibly helpful. TJ even took us on a tour of the village, allowed us to experience the true essence of Bali with visits to the rice fields and waterfall. I will definetly going back to Asli Bali Villa again in the future. Highly recommended Asli Bali Villa and their tour service, you can request TJ to be your guide

Food service was excellent - prompt and good quality, and served at our location of preference within the grounds. Loved the little touches like afternoon snacks of fried bananas and the comfortable outside sitting area.
A little "off the beaten track" for pickups and transport but that is also part of its charm. No transport provided by the hotel.

We felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves even though there were other guests because he resort's lay out is so well done, so that we felt we're here on our own. It is so peaceful and the gardens are gorgeous. The staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! Our kids loved feeding the big fish in the ponds. We also enjoyed the short walk to the stunning waterfalls in the jungle nearby. We thourougly enjoyed our stay here. It was wonderful. The perfect place to family stay. The pool was perfect temperature too.
There's honestly nothing I didn't like.

Wayan is very helpful, attentive, full of humor and wise advice. He welcomed us warmly and courteously. Ideally located for visiting the region, in a quiet environment, the room is very comfortable and impeccably clean. The swimming pool is a much appreciated plus. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. His wife cooks delicious Balinese dishes. The staff does its best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you again Wayan for your good humor and your kindness; We will definitely come back on our next trip to Bali ;)

Wonderful
Beautiful buildings and garden to relax and get away from the crowds. Staff was very friendly.
As others have pointed out there are hardly any restaurants or similar around and you definitely need a motorbike or car.
We did a 4h tour in the area (waterfall, temple, etc) with the owner which was very insightful - absolutely recommended.
The food you can get at the Villa is decent but with a very limited choice, which can be an issue if you don't plan on taking a motorbike to find food somewhere else.

Very nice rooms and property. Kind staff. Beautiful waterfalls nearby.
It is very far out. We arrived on Monday, apparently their restaurant is closed on Monday but there is nothing nearby which is unfortunate. After some asking they agreed to make us dinner.

We had the pleasure of staying at Asli Bali Villa in Bangli, Bali, Indonesia for the second time, and it was truly a remarkable experience. Wayan Sila and his family welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of their own. Their son, TeJe, was an outstanding driver, tour guide, and photographer.
TeJes hospitality began right from our arrival at the airport, and he continued to impress us throughout our stay. We did a morning tour, which included visits to Penglipuran, Pura Kehen, and the breathtaking Tukad Cepung Waterfall.
TeJes extensive knowledge of the area, his fluent English, and his safe driving skills made this excursion all the more enjoyable. And of course, he captured unforgettable moments with his photography skills, showcasing his unique TeJe style.
One of the highlights of our stay was being invited to a local ceremony at the city temple in the evening. This was a truly unique Balinese experience, where we were graciously dressed in sarongs by Wayan Silas wife and got a glimpse of the rich culture and traditions of Bali.
We had an incredible experience at the Selera Cooking Class in Bangli, Bali! From start to finish, it was a culinary adventure that we will cherish forever. This experience is a must for anyone visiting Bali.
If youre looking for a memorable and authentic Bali experience, I highly recommend Asli Bali Villa and TeJe or Wayan Sila as your guide. Its a place where you not only stay but also create lasting memories.

This is my second stay in Asli Bali Villas. I will leave another comment : it is impossible to oversate how great this place is. Beautiful premises, outstanding and very friendly service, great pool, good wi-fi, super-quiet, spacious and clean rooms, nice tours and activities for a very competitive price... Hands down and by far the best place in Bali for the price.
Nothing. Rien. Niente. Nada. Nichts. Niets. . Tidak ada. Ikke noget.

The hosts were wonderful, generous with their time and knowledge and we enjoyed seeing a different side of Bali with them. The property was beautiful and breakfast was great.
Our room didnt feel quite as private as hoped but it was still very nice. The location was good for seeing a more local side of Bali but it was a bit hard to get around, great for a shorter quiet stay.

Wonderful
Amazing gardens and landscaping - the best we stayed at in Bali. Peaceful villiage, wiht few tourists (nice change from Ubud!) Cute waterfall walk. The onsite cafe (Chrises) has affordable food and very nice staff, and great cocktails at the pool! Bagli region is beautiful and Lush
The lack of tourism in the area meant some difficulty getting around, and finding basic things like bike hire, taxi drivers etc. This was probably due to the fact that our trip co-incided with a huge national holiday in Bali (important religous ceremony) which saw alot of people off work. However, it would help if you had your own transport to get the most out of the surrounding area.

Wonderful
Beautiful place in traditional Balinese style in a quiet and secluded location. The owner and his family has been extremely helpful in terms of organizing (and driving) trips for us, recommending what to see and where to go and also to surprise us with snacks. Highly recommended place!
Nothing I would add particularly, we loved all aspects of the place.

Wayan, the industrious owner, and his family have built in a quiet balinese village an 11-room hotel with impeccable taste and an attention to detail bordering on obsessive-compulsive disorder. Every single part of the buildings and the beautiful gardens has been thoroughly designed. Carved stone and sculpted wood are everywhere. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the swimming pool is great, the wi-fi is good (around 50 Mb/s) and stable. Service is also outstanding, ever-present while remaining discreet, always ready to answer your every requirement or question. The rooms are just spotless. Pure magic. It is difficult to convey this familys sense of customer service: for example, I have witnessed the whole family staying up until 2 a.m. to welcome two travelers arriving from the airport. By the way, Wayan is also running a transportation business. He can take you everywhere and organize tours to any place you want to visit for very competitive prices. In Asli Bali Villas you will enjoy all the amenities and services of a five-star hotel for a very, very reasonable price, with real friendliness on top. Note about the comments I have seen on Booking: from Bangli, you are 40 minutes away from Ubud and 40 minutes from Mount Batur. It has to be noted that 40 minutes is like nothing in Bali: due to traffic conditions, any 10-kilometer trip will take you this time. Also, the hotel is well-referenced in Google Maps, neither you nor the taxi drivers will have any problem in finding the hotel.
Nothing.

Territory is outstanding, so fresh, vibrant and well maintained. Room is clean. Good spacious terrace. Staff is super friendly and eager to help. We were treated with jackfruit growing on premises and local desserts for free. There is a nice waterfall nearby.
European food could be better definitely. But Balinese food was good.
