It is kept immaculate. It is right on the lake. Even on a windy, rainy, cold day there was a pool for the kids and felt amazingly welcome. The staff was fantastic from the welcome drinks to all of the services! We couldn’t be happier with this stay!

Mala Garden Design Hotel is a true gem — stylish, peaceful, and beautifully designed. Elegant Balinese-inspired rooms, the stunning lake view, and the attention to every detail. The staff were exceptionally kind and professional, and the restaurant served delicious, high-quality food in a relaxing setting. A perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and hospitality.

The property had an amazing ocean view. The entire setup for food and drinks was wonderful.
Everything closes at 10pm and doesn’t open till 7am. There’s also no staff on site between these times so if you’re arriving late or checking out early, you are completely stuck.

Amazing location!!
We’ve been 3 times in Thailand last year, but we are so happy we found a piece of the land of smiles so close to home (2h drive from Romania).
Really nothing to complain. Everything is just right.

Room is nicely decorated, bed comfy; nice terrace for sunbathing & beautiful view over lake. Great breakfast!
Selection of food was a bit too fusion Asian and I missed proper meat & some hungarian twist in menu. Hotel next door blocks access so that ylu can’t enjoy walk on the lakeside (not hotels fault of course). There were quite loud kids in spa which is designed for adults and in my opinion should be kept childfree zone. Now completely ruined the ambiance.

The breakfast is very good cozy food. The restaurant has great food, good wine list. The spa not very big but on a high level. They do their best to please guests by offering welcome dronk with sweets, some farewell snacks. Interesting design of lobby and rooms. Very clean and new refurbishment.
The personnel was friendly and helpful, but more smiles will make it even warmer. Otherwise, nothing to complain… would love to come back in a warmer season
