The location ii near the lake, you can get there in 3 minutes on foot. It's very quiet, clean, the serve a very good breakfast. Very nice and friendly staff.

Location is good, breakfast was superb, a lot to choose from. Room was clean,tidy and beds comfortable. Staff was very nice,polite and helpful with any request. I would recommend this Hotel and gladly come back!

Everything! The property is a well maintained old setup with a lavish lawn and in a quiet neighborhood with good restaurants nearby and the lake within walking distance. The lady at the front desk is such a grace whenever you see her (thank you and sorry for not remembering your name). The rooms were very spacious, with a balcony and the beds are quite comfortable.
The restaurant only serves breakfast and it's a shame they can't do any other meals like lunch or dinner (they mentioned the reason that sounded genuine and not an excuse from their side). Would have appreciated more options for breakfast (as I don't consume pork but that's the case in most hotels in Europe), so not complaining but just mentioning. Bugs are a lot outside some rooms in the balcony, so need to make sure the netted doors are closed all the time (again, not a fault of the property).

The staff, waiting for us until 2 am, the restaurant on site, the clean and spacious facilities, all make Hotel Kentaur the only choice when visiting Lake Balaton.

Very helpful Mine Host. Great included breakfast. Large, attractive building.
Despite specifically booking twin beds (for my daughter and myself to share a room) the reception said that message hadn’t got through to her and we were out in a double room. However, she did change our room when I insisted.

The location is perfect, just a very short walking distance to the lake. There is a lot of parking in the property itself but also in the street just outside. The very big rooms have a balcony which is great as you have drying rack where you can dry your wet clothes after a swim.
I would have loved if their would be a jacuzzi in the garden as the garden is really huge and a card or a small payment to get towels to take with you to the lake.
Breakfast is really good and you have the option to sit indoors or in the beautiful garden.

ALWAYS in Hungary expect to find all restaurantes closed saturday night at 8PM, also in Mc. Donalds they get you out at 10PM evem you not finished to eat...

Kentaur Hotel is located in a quiet and a green area not far from Balaton Lake and for us was the perfect stop on the way home. We received a very good room with a balcony, with a refrigerator and air conditioning and we enjoyed a good breakfast. For the car, we had a parking space in the yard for a daily fee. The staff is very kind and the formalities went very easily and quickly. Warmly recommended!

A fair nice hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds and very nice staff.
Parking outside and inside the patio (for the last one there is a 5 euro fee/day).
The breakfast was diversified and also the staff was ok.

Good place for an overnight stay, a few steps away from Lake Balaton.
Very friendly staff, good size rooms and varied breakfast.
