Location, friendly staff, free parking, good breakfast, big room, comfortable bed, big bathroom.
The walls between the rooms are not soundproof, you can hear everything from the other room.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good wifi connection, tasty breakfast buffet, helpfull staff, location of hotel in quiet area, but not too far from Hungarospa. Parking in the hotel area under trees.

Good air conditioning in rooms
- Scam with balcony! We booked 2 premium double rooms with balcony and garden view , pool view, inner courtyard view and we received a room without any of this! There is a scam, the rooms have fake balcony! The doors lead to nowhere, there is no balcony!
- You have to wait for breakfast! At breakfast, there are very few tables in the restaurant so you must wait in the lobby until someone fisihes eating and then you can enter inside when there is not much food left...disgraceful
- Discrimination among visitors, they threat you different if you are not from the western countries.
- The reception staff is rude
- Far away from Hungarospa
- There is a fixed telephone in the corridor that the cleaning ladies use, that always rings starting 7 o'clock and it wakes you up every 5 minutes.
- Be aware, at check-out you must pay a city tax that they don't tell you nothing about at check-in !

Clean, quiet...
For a 4 star hotel with wellness area.... The lack of slippers in the room was a little disturbing... I asked at the reception and the answer was they do not have slippers... Also... The breakfast was at another hotel a few hundred meters down the alley...

I like Hungary. I spent several holidays in the country: Budapest, Debrecen, Heviz (3 times).
I enjoy the thermal water treatments, the food, the wine, the people - in spite of the difficult communication ( I speak Romanian as mother tongue and French and English as foreign languages)
Communication difficult, in case you can not speak Hungarian.
Food not as good as I expected this time.
Going to another hotel 200 m away for breakfast when the restaurant inside the Appolo hotel is much more plesant.

Convenient location, nice outside area and the pools were a good way to relax. The rooms are clean and you have everything you need in there. Breakfast was "not great not terrible" - the one from the hotel is lower quality than the one from another hotel in the same chain.
Rooms seem to be a bit outdated and the hotel could use some renovating. There was no light on the room balcony and no nets to stop mosquitos to enter the rooms. We had to go to a different place for breakfast in the first day (that place had better breakfast than what we had in the following days of our stays)
