Exceptional
The apartment was really big with a separate bedroom and kitchen. Having the fridge, stove and sink was super practical. The large leather sofas were great for lounging, the view was wonderful, and the location right in the heart of the old town center made it easy for us to visit the town on foot. The heated floors were an unexpected and wonderfully cozy feature!
The bed was a little soft for my preference, and the shower a bit on the small side, plus being in a central location meant there was some noise during the night, but these were very minor negatives and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This apartment is huge, cosy and warm! You have to walk up two flights of stairs and you’re met by the lovely owner.
It isn’t modern but it’s a home in every sense of the word. Just lovely, comfortable and obviously loved.
Location - perfect!! 1 minute walk to main square and a supermarket, 5 minute walk to the base of the castle, all other sites about 5-10mins walk, train station a nice 20 minute walk through a park.
Bedroom - comfortable large bed, and external shutters. Windows open & fly screens on so you can get fresh air.
Lounge - television (Netflix capability???) and very comfortable large chair & couch to seat around 5 people. Also another large bed we didn’t need but families would find very useful and comfortable.
Kitchen - large with plenty of bench space, big fridge freezer, oven, toaster, microwave. Really well stocked (only missing scissors). Round dining table with 4 chairs.
Bathroom - Hot shower but small. No shower gel.
Heating - under floor heating very effective and easy to control. Radiator in bedroom.
Fairly quiet and secure. Only some noise on Friday/Saturday nights, people walking around outside & we had the window open - if closed would be fine. Didn’t bother us too much.
Communication - great, timely and pleasant. Apartment as described.
Wine and chocolate a lovely welcome gift. View spectacular.
Stairs for some may be an issue. Not for us. They prefer cash but were open to bank transfer. We’d usually prefer to pay through booking.com. Shower small. None of these were major issues for us hence the score isn’t affected.
