location is nice, staff was very friendly
very outdated room, air-conditioning extremely loud but didn't do a thing, it was over 30 degrees in the room (warmer then outside), shower is tiny, old and barely working with lots of mold.

All was good - plenty of parking spaces behind the hotel, clean room, decent breakfast and dinner, a park nearby. My friends and I checked in late, and the hotel staff brought some food to our rooms. Nice spa zone.
The fridge in my room was not working.

i could even get in the hotel because nobody was there to open the gate or receive us for the reservation we ended up to locking for an other hotel after an hour waiting.for the owner or anybody to let us in .. also I did not yet received the full refund .

A very good hotel close to the basilica in Eger. Nice, cleand and big wellness area, great buffet dinner and breakfast, great value for money.

1. The food, especially the breakfast, very rich in options and with quality products.
2. The location is very close to the center (15min to the castle) and is in a quieter area.
3. The room and bathroom were clean and didn't smell bad (although the facilities are not exactly new).
4. The SPA wasn't that crowded, especially in the evening before closing.
We rated it a 7 to avoid lowering the property's average, but after the first day, it felt more like a 3. ?
We chose this hotel for a weekend in Hungary, but our experience was disappointing.
1. **Parking** – On Friday, a private event filled the parking lot, leaving no spaces for hotel guests arriving later. We had to park in an unsafe spot.
2. **Noise** – The first night was restless due to a loud air vent near our balcony (room 212). The walls were thin, and morning noise from staff was disruptive.
3. **Massage** – We were misled about the massage; it was more of a light touch than the promised therapeutic experience. Staff lacked basic English or German.
4. **SPA** – The Finnish sauna was unavailable Saturday evening due to a "special program."
5. **Dinner** – While the food was good, not even water or tea was included—something we’ve never encountered elsewhere.
6. **Entertainment** – The hotel's London bar was fully booked by non-guests, leaving no availability for us.
7. **Staff Attitude** – At checkout, no one inquired about our stay.
Despite the hotel's potential, poor management and lack of customer focus diminished the experience. We made the best of it, but wouldn't return.

Dirty floors at the facilities in general, rooms were not cleaned at all during the 5 day period. We found out that cleaning has to be requested also hovering, cleaning, changing towels.

The property was situated in the lovely park at Eger and also had access to the city’s thermal complex by foot and included in the price.
The rooms were large and airy and quit at night. The whole building had been sympathetically restored to reflect its age.
The spa complex in the hotel was small but offered variations.
The restaurant was lovely and the food choices were great for both dinner and breakfast.
The curtains in the room were only for decoration so you couldn’t have darkness in the room. Nobody could see in though.
