The place is in a residential area, better book it if you go with car. It has potential, the living room is spacious and bright
Please do a small investment on the place and focus a little more on the cleaning. Basic facilities are missing and the bed gave me a huge back pain. Many reviews point to this issue, but it still exists

Place is totally value for that price. Nice neighbourhood, pretty quiet street. Bus stop near, market close too. If you travel by car downtown ride in less than 20 mins. Clean apartment, all good and working.
Beds are not too level comfort, but it will do for few nights.

The host was very pleasant and accommodated our delayed flight and late arrival. The unit was clean.
The unit is advertised as air conditioned, but the unit is not large enough for the size of the place. It barely was comfortable in the main room where the AC was at. The bedrooms were uncomfortable to sleep in, especially if the doors were closed.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the M5 motorway, so it is very convenient for a transit stay. There is a Lidl supermarket in the vicinity also. The apartment has a lot of space and it is well equipped and decently clean. It was very easy to checkin and get the keys. It has decent Wifi but not very fast and not very powerful signal.
Although the apartment is clean and looks good, the acces to the apartment can be improved for a better impression (very very steep stairs and quite worn, including the access door of the apartment). Safety was not a concern. Keep in mind that the apartment is located in the attic, so both bedrooms and especially the bathroom are very difficult for tall people. The AC unit exists, but on a hot summer day of Budapest it barely does the job for the bedrooms located at the other end of the apartment, while cooling too much the area of the living room with the sofa. It was not very clear whether card payment can be used (several Hungarian cards are mentioned on the booking page), but the answer is no, you end paying cash (either HUF or EUR), so be prepared.

Wonderful
Good communication from the host and the lady that let us in even though we booked last minute and showed up within an hour from booking. Fully equipped kitchen and supermarket very close. Good value for money. Easy to find, parking in front of the building.
The beds weren’t comfortable. Some spiderwebs in the corners.

Close to Lidl (4 min walk). Big bathtub (though no shower curtain). The sofa bed was quite comfortable for a sofa bed. Parking was great. Having AC was very necessary during a heatwave. Communication with host was pretty easy. Overall decently spacious.
Some defects in the place. Bathroom door handle comes off. Bathroom window handle comes off. Baseboards in bedrooms not attached. Nothing that majorly affected the stay, just making a note of these things. To drive into old town downtown is about 25-35 mins depending on traffic. Again, not bad, just something to be aware of.

There were lamps but no sockets by the bed, so we couldn't use them or charge our phones. No AC in the bedroom. Open window in the bathroom offered no privacy from the neighbours. The space could be cleaner

Disappointing
Parking in front of the building, but not closed. Big apartment, very warm, there is enough hot water. It has a hairdryer, iron, microwave, stove with oven, refrigerator and coffee maker.
Cleanliness, I found toothpaste in the sink that was not washed well. I couldn't see the bathtub well because the light in the bathroom is weak and one of them doesn't work. The bedding was also not clean, the kitchen was sticky with dirt. The floor and other things were clean. The bed fell apart while I was sleeping and I fell through it (I weigh 74 kg). The first night I didn't even sleep because a group of children of different ages, without parental supervision, demolished the apartment above us, where they were staying, with uproar, banging, arguing and noise.

We liked that it was warm in the apartment. The location suited us and it was great that it has its own parking lot.
The apartment was quite dirty and we were afraid that the bed linen had not been changed because we only stayed one night.

Wonderful
A separate apartment with a bedroom and a room with a kitchen. Bathroom with a large bathtub. Nice owner. She speaks English. The apartment was clean. There is air conditioning in the apartment. Private parking. Close to the highway, about 20 minutes to the center. In my opinion, it's better to leave the car at P+R near the metro (for example P+R Pillangó utca M) - the price for the whole day is HUF 350.
Everything was good.
