Tap in the bathroom sink was literally on the edge of the sink, making washing hands an adventure.

I find the rooms large and spacious, and beautifully furnished. I love the bed, so comfy. I love the refurbishment of the old building. It is elegant and clever and I really feel at home at this hotel. It is also centrally located, very close to great restaurants and the Basilica... plus they have parking spaces. For me this hotel is a friendly home away from home.
I think the restaurant could choose more healthy options instead of the cheap oils... organic meats and eggs would make a huge impact without a large increase in costs. The breakfast is ok, most things you'd want are there, but a modest range compared to other similar hotels. I wish they'd cook porridge without milk as the eggs and bacon and sausages etc all look kind of odd to me so porridge was the healthy option. The real bread goes quickly! They do have some good items like coffee and tea, a freshly squeezed "smoothie" and pancakes... No individual egg order, tho. If you want it, it costs extra. In the mornings I've eaten there no waiter has ever asked me if I want to order something.

Love the location, breakfast was nice, the hotel is beautiful, very convenient and easy access to public transport, service was good and pleasant.
The mattress was very hard and not comfortable, the pillows were cheap made also very uncomfortable and the towels were very cheap made, expected a better quality.

This hotel has organic amenities which smelled great and made me feel well cared for. The room was a good size, bigger than I expected, and the bed was a real bed, not two beds pushed together. It was, as such, super comfortable. I liked the pillows but they also have other options for other preferences. The Hotel is beautiful, a really inventive, stylish renovation of an old building. The furniture is super comfortable, and looks great. It is original and I loved the colours and the style in the whole hotel, the reception, the room, even the restaurant. My bathroom was very clean and had everything I needed, with a towel heating rack on top. The restaurant offers some really inventive and tasty "amuse-bouche" and "petite-fours" before and after the dinner itself. There are some truly beautiful and delicious inventions that surprise. Super handy to have a parking garage on site, for me, and, I loved being within such a short walk of Budapest's best dining district.
I didn't really like my main meal, I thought it was more like being served the sides and the main part of the meal was just missing off the plate. I didn't really like the wine either, and I found the choices offered very limited. I would not eat there again, unless it was very cold outside! It felt like more attention was put into the before and afters than the actual food. But I did love the soup. I thought that the breakfast I paid for should cover one egg-dish a-la-carte, but you have to pay extra for that, say, an omlette. There was enough there to have a good meal without the eggs... but in general I didn't like the croissant, I think it is made with oil not butter, the danishes did not look appealing, neither did the sausages, the bacon did not look fully cooked, the scrambled eggs looked as if they were made from powdered eggs... lots of corners cut and it left me feeling like I should have gone outside and eaten at one of the local cafes that are open for breakfast. The porridge and the coffee were ok, and I liked that they have a mini pancake maker although I didn't actually make any, and that they had real butter served in paper packs not in plastic. I would love to see the restaurant move towards real food instead of vegetable oil and or even go organic, like the amenities in the room.

Everything! This hotel and staff more than exceeded our expectations. It’s a classy hotel in an excellent location.
Walking distance to the train station and old town square where the Christmas Markets are.
We also received Five Star service from the staff, especially Maciej Bartys who more than once went out of his way to help us and make our stay a wonderful, memorable vacation.
That we couldn’t stay longer.

The staff were amazing, and the onsite food selections and quality were outstanding! We absolutely loved the location being close to the city center and the Christmas Market activities. We were in Budapest early to catch our river cruise on Viking, and discovered that the departure point for the boat was only a few hundred meters walk away.
The worst part of the entire experience, was the comfort of the beds. They were a bit hard for my liking, but not impossible to get a good nights sleep. We would still choose to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in District 5 in walking distance to the Danube River and close to St Stephen's cathedral which was great for us to visit the Christmas Market and all the beautifully decorated shopping streets. Breakfast was wonderful!! Room was well appointed and we even had turn down service in the evening with a Chocolate surprise on our bed!!!

The hotel's location is excellent. We were just a block or two from the river and had easy access to public transport. The hotel was beautiful and the service was great. It was probably the most comfortable bed of of our trip. I'm also a side sleeper, and use a memory foam pillow at home. It's a joke that I can't sleep without it, and sleep terribly anywhere but home. However, the hotel offered a pillow menu and provided me with a memory foam pillow! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay, and the staff surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine. I would highly recommend this hotel during your stay in Budapest.
