Excellent facilities and nicely upgraded. The AC worked great and the location was amazing, right in the center of the Buda Castle. The bathroom has everything to you need, and there is coffee and tea in the room.
Not the hotel’s fault, but I didn’t realized the hotel is in an old building and there is no elevator. We were on the second floor, no not a big deal, but is good for people to know there is no elevator.

We had a truly memorable stay at Pest-Buda Design Hotel and I highly recommend it!
The location is simply fabulous: The hotel is located right in the heart of the Buda Castle District, in a gorgeous, quiet, and extremely elegant historic area. It is just a stone's throw away from Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, making it the perfect base for exploring Budapest.
The room was absolutely fabulous: Very clean, beautifully decorated, with a tasteful modern design that perfectly blends with the historic charm of the building. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail was noticeable in every corner.
Impeccable service: The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to absolutely every need we had, making us feel genuinely welcome.
The food at the restaurant and the great atmosphere on the terrace perfectly rounded out a wonderful vacation. We will definitely return here every time we visit Budapest!

Great location, right in the centre of the Castle District. The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast is excellent.
It’s quite small so there’s no common area other than the restaurant. So nowhere to sit other than the room. Although there is a bar in the court yard.

Extraordinary historic building, in a wonderful part of Buda, friendly and helpful staff.
Terrace lights outside on the top floor were controlled from another room and prevented me from sleeping. Electric blinds did not function to cut out excess light.
Hotel communication by email kept requesting confirmation which we had already given several times.

Location was excellent, all staff were very friendly. Breakfast was all fine.
Shower/Toilets doors were made of glass which were transparent! There was also an external door (with had a blind) the outside light was on throughout the night which kept us awake. One of the bedside lights was not working and despite telling the staff, this was not fixed.
