Location is excellent and right into the heart of the night out in Soho area with lots to do around. There's also a mini market next door and Fat Mama with a great breakfast and brunch options. Staff was attentive and I had no issues at check-in or check-out
Some people used to say "always judge the quality of a hotel by the quality of the toilet paper provided." - here at Maverick, it's like sandpaper. However, the hotel is better than sandpaper as it is actually a hostel with a few floors dedicated to separate bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There's that vibe of hostel around the premises. The temperature of the room was at 30 and the only way to regulate it was by opening the window to let it ventilate. The bathroom looks like a hospital bathroom, but other than that it's all functional and it works. But for the price I'd say it was over the limit of what you get for what you pay.

I loved my stay. I had booked a single room and the room was beautiful. Hostel kicthen was decent. Breakfast served in the Moring was quite good. There is a super market right around the corner and 10mins walk to tram and bus stops.

Very convenient location for exploring the city, staff is super helpful and front desk is 24 hours, comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet and peaceful despite the area it’s located in, yummy breakfast with lots of options
Wifi didn’t work well in the dorm room so I relied on my data. Located on a busy night life street, which could be a pro or con depending on if you plan to go to the bars and clubs. For me it was a con and made walking there at night on Friday and Saturday a bit uncomfortable.

The hostel is very accommodating and have me checked in 1 hour early. It’s a quite place to stay and very comfortable. The luggage storage is very kind and have me stayed in the place even after I check out.
I just wish that the kitchen is a bit bigger (but it’s ok, not really a bad thing)

Absolutely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life.
It exceeded all my expectations. Everything is simply perfect: the price, the accommodations, the comfort, and the cleanliness. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of.
The social activities are amazing and make it so easy to connect with other travelers, even if you’re traveling solo. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of good energy.
After staying here, it honestly makes you wish every hostel in the world were like this one. Truly perfect. Highly recommended, and I would come back without a second thought.

The property is in a very convenient location while the staff is also very kind and laid back.
The rooms are very hot and the bathrooms did not seem to be cleaned at all during the four nights I was there. This property seemed to be having construction done on half the rooms as well so it was rather loud in the establishment throughout the day.

Maverick Soho is in an excellent location close to stores, transit, restaurants, banks, atm machines and everything else. You can walk to the St Stephen's Bascilica and other landmarks. There are designer stores in walking distance. A Starbucks not far. Decent size grocery store down the street. Great Hungarian restaurants a block away. Clean shower and toilet facilities. Clean rooms. Big kitchen with double everything. Free coffee and fruit tea. Refrigerators and microwaves with ample seating. Big lounge area. Canteen across the grounds and a bar with food connected. It has everything. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds.
Like all hostels, you have to contend with your roommates noise, smells and discourtious behavior. Leaving at 4 a.m. making alot of racket and flipping on lights. Coming in loudly at all hours. Making alot of noise in the hall in the middle of the night. There are more private room abd rooms with 4 or 6 beds to cut down on traffic. Some people, like snorers, just should be alone. Staff speaks english. You can't beat $10 a night. Rooms were on the chilly side but today they were installing new units it looks like.

This was my first time staying at a hostel. After my stay here, i wonder why I've never stayed at a hostel before. My first experience was wonderful! The cleanliness was exceptional. My room was in a 6 female dormitory for 5 nights. It was always quiet. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable and the curtain didn't let any light come in. There's a light and electrical socket inside your bunk. The bathroom was right night to my room which was very nice. And the kitchen was at the end of the hallway. They also provide towels. The location was PERFECT. Walking distance to literally everything. **Tip I got from reading other reviews and tiktok for hotels: bring shower shoes, a padlock and microfiber towel (if you prefer your own towel).
Not one complaint. Everything was perfect.

Loved my stay here. Stayed in an all-female dorm, and the bathroom was so spacious that you barely bumped into other people. The staff was helpful with recommendations on what to do within your budget. I'd say it is a pretty reasonable distance into the city, averaging about a 10-15 min walk.
