Simply put, EVERYTHING: the spacious and comfortable room, the quality of the food, the kind and welcoming staff, the quiet environment, and the beautiful environment. The building was reminiscent of the historical palace environment.

The staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. The rooms were very tidy, and the location is excellent—within walking distance of major attractions. The breakfast provided was also excellent.
There is no lift available, I was carrying my heavy luggage through the steps to first floor

The hotel is in a great location. The staff are all incredibly nice and attentive. The breakfast is great and I would strongly recommend the restaurant for dinner. The food was superb.

Everything was wonderful!! Starting with the absolutely perfect location on the quiet side of Castle Hill but walkable to all the sites. Almost directly across the street from bus 16, which takes you down the hill, across the Chain Bridge into the Pest side of Budapest. Delicious breakfast every morning w great cappuccinos n lattes! Lovely dinner w great wine n drinks selection. The bathroom was the BEST bathroom ever!! With nice big shower, controls easy to manage, water pressure great n temperature was as hot as you like. PLUS L’Occitane bath products throughout. Also, personnel were very knowledgeable and informative, answering any questions we had very quickly.

Lovely place to stay in Budapest. Excellent location, delicious breakfast and beautiful room (ours opened to a private patio). Thomas and the restaurant staff, in particular, were so friendly and went above and beyond! We’d definitely recommend staying here!

The location is great. Very close to the Fisherman’s Bastion. The breakfast was very good and the hotel staff helpful and friendly. Our room in the Petit Maison was large, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel offers a 2,000HUF per day voucher, to be used in the restaurant, if you forego the room cleaning. We took advantage of this with our travel buddies and purchased a bottle of wine one evening.
Not much. Our room had a bit of an odour if the fan was off. I suspect the shower drain needed cleaning but otherwise really a nice stay in beautiful hotel.

Breakfast was at the hotel was good, quick with great service. The reception person when we arrived was very helpful and when arrangements were made for leaving he was there to get us coffee or have breakfast made. Dinner and breakfast were very good and the waiters and waitresses were pleasant and the to accommodate.
